IT WAS A FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN FOR THIS CITY'S ADMINISTRATION, FOR OVERWATCH HAS TAKEN COMPLETE CONTROL.
THE DOME IS A SITE OF FIERCE ASYMMETRIC WAR BETWEEN THE SOVIET RECLAMATION FRONT RESISTANCE AND THE COMBINE.
AN ALIEN ALGORITHM HAS BEEN ACTIVATED - "KRAKEN" IS ABOUT TO COMMENCE WITH A HAMMERSTIRKE COUNTER-ATTACK.

Who is playing and what's the setting?
You are playing as a member of the Soviet Reclamation Front. For this part of the event, Combine forces are one-hundred-percent controlled by the GMs and specially selected players that are trustworthy to be a storyline elementary obstacle. This is to provide for a worthwhile and serious roleplaying atmosphere. Your SRF character has been specifically selected for the mission to eliminate the administration and cause a crippling morale blow. Your characters were able to do so with an Improvised Missile System targeting the upper part of the NEXUS. In your escape, the infrastructure collapsed on top of you, and your get-away vehicles are trapped.

Earlier SRF characters are allowed to take part in this event and be part of the new commando unit the SRF created for "impossible" tasks...

Who can apply?
If you want to have an impact on the lore or want a more serious roleplaying tone that is designed to be urban hell on Earth, then this event will be for you. Anyone willing to apply for a character that's in a leadership position, bare in mind that the decisions you make will heavily impact this event. I expect top tier from you, no laziness involved.

How do I apply?
Follow the format below, you should be fine. Bare in mind that I won't accept half-effort applications. Create a character and design him or her well, because if this is successful then these events may inspire something far greater in the short and moderate future - and you as the players are the flagship for it, and not the event.

The Event has high-quality standards and it is run and set up by LORD-RAD-X and whom he chooses, personally.
Staff may simply reply on this post and state they want to GM. Nothing more, nothing less.
You are asked to be serious when playing the listed characters.
Your choices will ultimately determine the fate of City Three and the SRF as an entire rebellion from this point onwards.

Russian in heart, but unwillingly to die for the motherland. Nikolai Verbitski found himself forcefully conscripted into the Soviet Reclaimation Front after being outed by the Combine in City Three. Having no choice but to join up with the S.R.F, he found himself taking part in an organised training excersise just outside the borders of City Three. One thing was for certain, war was on the horizon.

When war hit City Three, Verbitski was not part of a mortar group or a tank group, he was simply a boots on the ground soldier attacking one of the fronts for the S.R.F. Fortunately (or unfortuantely as he looks at it), he was part of the group that helped take out the Commander in the local region. With the heavy losses contained by the S.R.F and the Combine, he found himself being railroaded up the ranks and into the position of Captain.

Captain of the S.R.F Commandos, specfically a job that he did not want to do and yet he found himself doing more suicide missions.

Caring: His troops will not fall under his command, each man must do his job but he will not let them die for no reason. For no motherland.

Experienced: Experienced in the S.R.F war tactics and being on the frontlines of the inital S.R.F assault, he understands his role as Captain within the unit.

Unloyal: The motherland means nothing to him, the S.R.F means nothing to him. He fights because it is better then living underneath the Combine rule.

Unwillingly: He may be unwilling to follow through with orders from command. The only way he will? If he is threatened with a shot to the head. God he hates the S.R.F commissars.

Rough and one of the older lads in the S.R.F , loyal and prepared to serve. Dmitri Alexandrovich inraged with the loss of his family members, taken by the Combine, decided that he would join the S.R.F to avenge his fallen comrades and family. Voluntarily joining the S.R.F lead to him becoming more gritty and battle hardened.

Following his enlistment into the S.R.F Dmitri tried climbing the ranks slowly. Gaining the trust of fellow soldiers and them respecting him of his past work and ability to command. Dimitry not being necessarily polite he didnt have many people to turn too. People only feared him but did trust him for tough situations and for his ability to make decisions. Having almost next to no friends did give him hard do decide personal life choices, and messed with his mental state in negative ways that can have long term negating effects. But Dmitri would always complete his task without hesitation, even if it meant taking the life of another man

When considering the actions of Streiss, it is important to mention that his birth in the early seventies made him so much more culpable to the GDR's 'Jugendweihe' schemes, with him becoming particularly fond of Stalinist-Leninist ideals, despite the fact the heart of communism was shifting away from it. Unconfirmed stories recount Streiss' actions as unnerving, having constantly been on edge, culminating in disciplinary training when he wounded a passing couple at Checkpoint Charlie, Streiss' service record is..."

Konrad Streiss was born in 1970. At the age of 10, after having been exposed to an excellent SOCIALIST education, Streiss enrolled in the Jugendweihe, rejecting his own parent's wishes of fleeing to the West. Streiss served, then, duly in the National People's Army, being an unremarkable Private for a year, before practically begging for transfer to the Stasi.

Streiss' character is certainly questionable, having tapped approximately 209 houses in his time as a Stasi officer, being responsible for the arrest of 511 citizens and beating any other Stasi officer in the Pankow District of Berlin by 30%. Despite this, Streiss was not well liked by his superiors, who still craved a return to Western ideals; yet; as a socialist baby, Streiss could not share such ideals, and was allegedly absolutely dedicated to the socialist cause without falter nor hindrance.

One thing is certain, Streiss does not falter when tasked with propagating socialism, and will take to any means necessary in order to secure a victory for any socialist state. Streiss does not have a combine datafile - for his entire life post-GDR, he has survived in a small occupational resistance group, trying to desperately install Stalin's Grandson on the seat of the socialist bloc. It had no use, and now Streiss' group has merged into the S.R.F., Streiss will achieve the objective, no matter the cost; friendly or hostile.

loyal to the cause; being a veteran member of the SRF, his loyalties lie with the organization he fights for.

aggressive with anger issues; self-explanatory. Vasily's aggressive nature is sometimes a blessing during combat, letting him capitalize on mistakes quicker than someone else, but also a detriment as he sometimes overestimates his abilities, causing him to make stupid o irrational decisions. Out of combat, he can be seen as a disrespectful asshole.

jumpy and skittish when out of combat; fighting and surviving in a hostile environment changed Vasily to the point where he thinks he is at death's door all the time. Coupled with his aggressive nature, Vasily throws fits of anger at his own for minor reasons.

-Experienced. A Now Veteran of the City 3 reclamation campaign who served as a VDV Field medic during the assault on the City 3 dome, Oskar in the heat of battle managed to save the life of a wounded officer which later resulted in selection combined with their prior service in the VDV.

-Disorderly Although an experienced Combat veteran Oskar for example during the battle of the C3 dome is known for having abandoned his post when manning it otherwise seemed hopeless or suicidal and instead chose to push ahead without any orders being delegated by command to do so.

-Loyal Although previously of questionable Loyalty Having not been always a devote communist the victory in December of 2017 alongside his comrades in the penetration of the dome had been a major boost to Oskar's at the time limited faith in the soviet union or in Soviet High Command's ability to manage a successful victory.

-Unpredictable behavior, While Oskar tries his best to stick to the commands and orders of those in command around him, He may try and overrule them especially if the situation becomes more and more desperate making them potentially a liability if things get really bad.

Trustworthy: Dmitri has been known as a trustable person. He has done jobs for most of the citizens in City Three.

Former Soviet Armyman: Dmitri was apart of the Soviet Army during the Cold War, he even almost got into the KGB.

SRF - 51st Guards Artillery Division
Isaak Pavlov was a member and Field Leader of the 51st Guards Artillery Division. As an acting Lieutenant, he led the SRF Artillerymen during the battle between the Combine and the SRF that allowed them to breach City 3's protective perimeter. THE BEAR OF MOSCOW
Handpicked for this elite unit alongside his comrades, Makarov has a reputation to uphold. Known for his many battles including the battle for Moscow, he believes he must prove he is the best the remnants of the USSR have to offer.

OVERZEALOUS
The Lieutenant is fully dedicated to the Soviet Reclamation Front's goals. He will risk his life and the lives of his subordinates to complete the mission. Failure is not an option - and Makarov is very aware of that fact.

SELF-CENTERED
He holds his achievements close to heart, convinced that he is the best the SRF has. Luka expects a hero's welcome for what him and the Commando detachment have done behind enemy lines in Moscow - with the intent to take full credit.

COMPOSED

Now with the nickname 'Iron Kid', he took up arms with an ancient mosin-nagant to fight the oppressors. Being recognized for his efforts and for his ferocity in battle, he was promoted and accepted to the Soviet Reclamination Front soon to be infamous Commando Unit. Receiving further on the spot training and handed a new rifle.​

Quiet and Composed​

Timur with the months of disdain and harassment throughout his time in SRF has grown quiet and almost never speaks outside of mission-related communications. He merely sticks to himself and performs his duty. And afterward retreats to the hidden corners of camps and bases.

Ferocious​

Timur operates with ferocious efficiency in battle, mission, men, and women above his rank come first. And perhaps because of the past interactions with many SRF troopers, they can fall in battle for the motherland.

Past Unknown.​

Timur is a bit of a puzzle for many of the NCO's and CO's who've read through his file. A Loyalist, and being brought up in the Universal Union. He was one of the unlikeliest of types to flock to the SRF side upon the sparks of an Uprising. Regardless, He did. And he fought tooth and nail to earn his position as one of the youngest and most efficient Scouts and Marksmen with his ancient mosin-negant.
