Sup yall.

Dunno elsewhere to post this, but the event that took place in the slum apartment block was hella fun. To be honest, I couldn't really be complaining about it. It was well-received and everyone on my side enjoyed it. Got some action around the slums and awaken some sort of either discontent amongst the population or satisfaction based on people's own motives. I'd personally loved it and would easily bring forward something similar in the future as it enhanced the experience.

The only thing that caused a bit of confusion was how they got the intel or specifically the information about Billy Haraldson and how the gang got framed for it. But also the general information about our location. I doubt it was just a casual block sweep, but could someone dig into some logs or general video/picture evidence on the whole ordeal. How we went from Billy to the end result of this. I don't wanna place any bets but I might smell the sensation of some metagame.

Anyways if anyone got some time to look around the logs or general evidence wise then I'd appreciate it. I just wanna clear up the confusing intel part as it seemed a bit sus. Thank you

Hello. I am the Rank Leader that was at the head of the sweep. As you were told, the crate that you broke into in the hardpoint had a biolock, and the emote made in response to yours mentioned the biolock flashing red. This was an alert to Civil Protection that a biolock had failed. They moved into the sewers to investigate, but found you long gone. Due to valuable munitions and weaponry having been lost to your thievery, I ordered that we check the slums to see if we could catch you up there. As we exited the slums, the closest place to check first to us was the apartment block. I ordered my team to split up and search the apartments, which they did. Multiple apartments were being searched at once.

I had no idea that you were in the apartments, or which apartment was yours. I was the one who kicked in the door to your apartment, and did not know you were in there at all. I even only had one other CP with me when I kicked it in. You would have been able to get away completely scot free if you'd hidden your weaponry in your containers, as we'd have been unable to do anything about your containers due to the rules. Unfortunately, you were armed in there and opened fire as soon as I entered. If we hadn't found you in the apartments there, we'd have just moved on to the rest of the slums and continued sweeping. It was a case of bad luck.

In regards to the comments made by the officers in your screenshots- it's to my understanding that IAT (the detective division) had been investigating your group due to some reports made from citizens or other interrogations. I had not personally read any of the investigations and did not even know your group existed IC.

Nah, I enjoyed it. I ain't complaining about the IC outcome of the circumstances or the decisions made by yourself or your team. Our characters were made for this very specific cause. We weren't lookin' for long-term characters because that just ends up going down the same spiral of not willing to lose the grasp of those characters. And eventually ends up as a typical John Doe rebel or something similar.

(I've never seen a Bio-lock on a crate before or I thought CPs followed the same guidelines and rules when it came to base raiding. but that's a story for another time)

This is what mainly confuses me. We haven't really mugged anyone or caused too much excess drama around the slums until Billy Haraldson got introduced into the picture. We were really strict in not showing our base location as we'd always patrol around before even considuring opening the door that would reveal the base.

Based on a previous PK request on Billy Haraldson, for being caught snitching 3 times in a row because he spoke to the Civil Protection. It's unclear if he mentioned our crib or base location under the interrogation even though he had no knowledge of it. That's why I want an admin to start digging into these small details of logs that could round up to a possible metagame scenario of Billy's side of things, especially if he doesn't have evidence or pictures of the cribs whereabouts. I suppose this led to the knowledge of Civil Protection now knowing both about the crib and partly our apartment.

I personally lost the right to PK Billy after an Admin dispute, and the general knowledge of West Coast wanting to PK Billy was thrown out the window now that it was partly voided.

Yet somehow Billy Haraldson shows up at our base location a few days later and attempts to PK the entire West Coast specifically stating that we wanted him dead even though we IC & OOC couldn't kill him. I guess this just caused a chain of situations where the West Coast now got framed for Billy's own provoked attack and killing himself. But also the fact that he somehow knew the location of our base of operation which lead to witnesses now knowing our base location as it was happening just outside.

This puts Billy in the center of possibly malicious intent of metagame but also unjustified actions of Billy physically provoking an attack on PK'ing the West Coast Gang even though we had been told off prior by OOC means that we could not hurt Billy or kill him. Yet Billy somehow has Pk auths on us even though we can't pk him? This puts the question, what could be the possible reason to give Billy the right to PK the west coast and cause the chain of situations afterwards?

The metagaming accusation I shall look into myself, I'll start on the units that made those comments and trace it back to its source. Will probably finish sometime in the coming week.

Actually, I can make this relatively short: it wasn't Billy that gave the information about the base, and I'm fairly certain the base the CP's know about isn't even the one that got raided.

EDIT: There appears to have been a miscommunication between a staff member and a player regarding Billy's 'retaliation' as shown in the video. But seeing how that ordeal isn't specifically related to the raid, I've elected to void the info given to cops I mentioned just above regardless. Aside from that, no sign of foul play.

Alright, the only thing that's left untouched now is how Billy manage to get PK auths on the entire West Coast. I can't really put my finger on a valid Pk reason for him to attempt burning down the crib and killing those part of the gang. Espeically when we personally OOCly got our pk reqeust revoked. Which begs the qeustion? How could he have PK auths on us and we couldn't? And where's the relevent evidence he somehow knew where the crib was in the first place? I suppose he made a Pk-Request appeal like any other person and there must have been some sort of releveant evidence or reason right?

He didn't have a PK request on any of you. If by some stroke of luck he killed any of you, it wouldn't have been a PK.

If he didn't have pk auths, and he didn't have a valid reason to be raiding the base then isn't that direct violation of rules? Especially without staff supervision and evidence stated by the guidelines?

So, he just randomly decided in attempting to spraying down 4 people and then burn their base down without knowledge?

There wasn't a breach of the rules, no. Maybe a part neglectful, but nothing worth banning or warning him for.

With that said, after surveying the logs and talking to Billy's writer, I am going to deny this request.
