Hi I'm Kordinn.
I'm definitely new to here but not new around the GMOD RP community, at least pre-2016. Lots of time spent over numerous communities between multiple scripts, settings, you name it. I cut a lot of my teeth with a community that is renown for it's mexican food and yellow fruit, up until exiting all serious-rp entirely to finish university and move on with life. I played Half-Life Alyx over last Thanksgiving and now I've got the itch again.
I've heard a lot of good things in terms of how well developed this server is and it really seems like you guys have a passion for having a deep expanded lore to the Half Life universe, even if it's just throwing ideas out there, it's really creative stuff that I think some people may have lost over the years when sitting on a high horse about what is "good RP" vs. what is actually fun RP. I really enjoy the World Map and the expanded setting outside of the City.
I don't have a lot of time as now I'm an adult with responsibilities and a wonderful fiancé and I just can't justify a ton of server-time, but have such a deep love for the Half-Life setting that I've let myself miss out on far too long on any sort of RP. Lots of places don't exist anymore and you hardly see the activity you say six years ago, and that's okay times change but for the diehard Half-Life fans, what is there for us afterwards? Roblox? I hope you guys stay around for a long time even if I only have a minor investment in time spent here, just because it's obvious there's a lot of love for the setting put into the lore here unlike anything I've seen in the past.
anyway big yap over, hope to be able to jump on from time to time and stick a character or two into some of the more underground stuff or citizen-based/CWU work you can kinda do. not much interest in the cops/overwatch these days, a vort might be fun esp. since in the year of our lord 2024 we can put clothes on them in gmod now.
