People want a tough universe but they also want to be liked by many and be swag but then make them self so 'diverse' by giving them selves either autism, sociopathy or some other condition and the LGBT thing be like brody if you wanna be gay be gay then but fr my nuka if you doing it to be diff from the crowd like bro that shit been done b4, I personally see most of this as trying to differ from the rest if it aint then my apologies home boy fr I just come from different servers

literally every single one of those things are character traits

you know, for creating a character? giving them personality, quirks, flaws, benefits, idiosyncrasies? do you only make Jim John the Gunman? are you that shallow? do you comprehend that there are more facets to roleplay besides "i must kill enemy"?

sure, there's people who depict any number of the aforementioned traits poorly, but that isn't a problem of "people shouldn't be doing this in a dark universe"; that's a problem of "this person is a bad roleplayer, didn't do their research, or is taking the piss"

i'm convinced this is bait because the words ive just read make absolutely no sense but i have learned that making a stupid remark without any credibility is just going to make me a social pariah again

No no thats not what I'm saying, my point is the universe is dark but the people with so many quirks and flaws etc. are asking for it to be darker, if the universe were to get any darker I am lead to believe that these people who play these characters (that I believe to be uninspired and overall overused) will get angry and wish for alterations to be made because having so many reasons for someone to hate and discriminate against you wouldnt really go hand in hand in a dark universe, really think about it and I know you have to give your characters character but as stated above that character really wears off and gets old once it is done alot and personally I wont name names but the RP I have seen brought with characters like these was imo down right cringy and it made me not want to converse with them. And bro I get they are char traits but bro they be giving themselves traits like CK2 ruler designer unlocked like bro I dont care if you wanna be gay but do you gotta have a fucking essay of quirks and disabilities?? like really bruh?
