Not everything was for nothing, the world was coming to an end. People were coming to an end. It was an inevitable extinction of a race that divided each other through culture, class, and color of skin. Imperialism, the sport of hunting land and taking the people and riches of an area - brought down on our planet. Tactics we'd employ on weaker individuals all deployed on us as the foreign being came down to earth, hellish creatures taking the lives of those who wonder. People, goblins more like, summarily executing petty criminals. Earth had fallen, but it was not because of the invaders - it was the ones who turned to destroy each other, and show loyalty to the power that will eventually dispose of them.

My journey was not to fight - preserve what is left. My goal was to restore something - indefinitely or not- and I accomplished it. The indigent did not starve, freeze, or go dark. My efforts were not for myself, to broadcast a reputation -it was to inspire others to do the same. Community. Is what the world needs. It is all we have left, each other. One another should not brag over a computer screen, showing credits, or the attachment on your military weapon. But how stable the setting of your people, your community, is. Coming home to a safe community. A proper one - no one will know

You've given me the chance at redemption. Able to shun away the former mistakes I've made. You provided to the people, not only of Indigent, the last of our kind. As disaster struck and many died, either out in the streets - or tucked away, decaying because of the failure to admit defeat - we stood as a bastion of hope.

What started as five Sikhs, in a warehouse - obviously that has seen better days - turned into a commune in which we provided food, clothes, and shelter to the Indigent community. Those turned away by the 'Uniters'. Although, it was not entirely their fault. We aided undesirables, and possible murderers, all so we could reach ends meant to raise the stability of the community.

In the end... We did what we did... If it was not for the hands we shook, the people we met - the deals we've done - the center wouldn't have existed. Three hundred fewer meals, nearly one hundred more empty stomaches, dozens without shelter. All something that would've been seen if it wasn't for us.
