(Local splinter group of the IJU near City 40)

The Islamic Jihad Union (IJU) is a militant Islamist organization founded in 2002 as a splinter group of the Islamic Movement of Lebannon (IMU). Originally headquartered in South of Al-Kawn, a mountainous region of northwest in Lebanon, the group has been affiliated with both Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, ISIS and other groups.
Operations were halted during the war with the death of the leader Abdul Ghani and the terrorist cell only made a resurgence recently with the rise of a new General, Muhammad Takfir.
The IJU holds many members all across the world due to its ruthless and fearless members, Jihadists are believed to not fear death as they are promised a place in heaven after their death.
City 24's Group is minimal and awaits orders from the General before it acts, for now its main goal is to rid the sewers of bandits, hostile other worldly-creatures and Non-conforming cells (Groups that are directly hostile) while maintaining presence within rebel communities in the underground.
NOTE: (The IJU recognizes the Combine as punishment from Allah for the many sins of earth and does not directly oppose it, some members are even considered loyalists)
