Issues About Distribution

I still dont see the issue with having a vendor set up with stupid high prices for when stores aren't open

Literally no, it'd invalidate buying what you need from multiple stores when you can get the raw components from a single shop down the street.
Make it illegal for stores to sell the components, only the finished goods. If they do sell them, they'll be more expensive than just a finished good composed of them since stores would charge a premium for doing it under the counter (I know I would)

we need to inject more money into the economy

give the citizens a stimmy check

Lack of active businesses
Increase buy options for citizens
Add an interest that reflects their confidence on store activity
reward stores for activity

Use remade bmd vendor for loyalist goods at trainstation. Make goods ship after longer wait than bmd restock time.

Redefinition of how bmd npc works but it is adapt to citizen rp. Making an order and then realising a store for specific item opened gives player sense of fomo to save credits.

If not feeling fomo - low confidence on business activity hence willing to pay premium.

We've been considering simplifying permits and bundling some together to allow shops to sell more goods and also simplify the CWU permit system. We're still considering the pros / cons of this so some opinions on this would be nice.

As for the suggestion, we'll be redoing the vending machine system to allow ppl to sell sell goods from them and profit when someone buys from it. We don't wish to automate it more than such though as that takes away from shops

Please do this. I can't even sell peanuts at my bar.

Yeah thats another issue, a lot of the good stores keep running into limits; Bernard has hit his stock limit like 5 times in a row now because people buy from him all the time.

We really need to de-limit that for active stores as it actively punishes stores that do good.
I assume intention behind limiting succesful businesses is to make noob stores able to catch up with rival bottlenecks.

Money reflects products on this game. You craft items with money. Keynesiasm is just being given free items in this game.
No we need actual Keynesianism, that's what the workshifts are - pay people to do stupid shit just so they go stimulate the economy

Look at it this way - no matter how they obtain the money - let it be stimulus, work or hell even being lended money. Money is just a convertible to products. It does not actually reflect the economy correctly, other than there being more items put into the market. Either way - stupid shit that people already work with is workshifts.

Asking for ways to get credits is same as asking for scripts.

The Combine is a cashless planned economy, there's no real reason to be monetarist because there is no financial market and no demand for money.
Just *clap* give *clap* people *clap* credits

A simplified permit system would be absolutely amazing...now the other issue is for me to find a online CWU who can let me get a store in my timezone. 😩 (And enough SC...barely any workshifts my timezone.)

For the main concept...I'm a bit torn, as someone who literally only seen McBernard's open my timezone on my CivPro...being able to buy a frying pan or such when mine breaks and there's no toolshop open ever barring 5AM would be nice.

What timezone's that?
Maybe everybody is just avoiding you

Australia. I'm like 11 hours ahead of Europe. Server is only active between Midnight and 6AM. Only see stores open around that 3-4AM peak. It's 9:30 in the morning as I type.

Australians should apply for leadership positions to fill the void.

Literally the first paragraph of my post is me saying how there's a lack of workshifts in my timezone to obtain the SC needed to get a shop/CWU position...much less an active CWU senior management/red-shirt to actually provide the permits/store in the first place.

Hence why the requirement that is put on Europeans and Americans should be lifted from Australians, you have to fill the void that stops progress for Australians. This is also in best interest of Europeans and Americans because if Australians populate the server during mornings, then ration farmers will not be blocked with closed ration terminal. I can agree that everyone wants there to be australians to populate the server when everyone else is not. Fill the void.

Moving this to accepted-ish.. Refering to the vending machine + looking at bundling up a few permits to allow for more shop goods variation

ACCEPTED
