"Is this it? I am finally losing it? I'm writing letters to myself trying to remember who I am or who I was, but everyday it just get's harder. I don't even know what I look like anymore. I got keep doing this and I don't want to die if they found out; I'd be killed right? Or would I be sent to a hospital or facility. It doesn't matter, I'll transcribe my first letter to myself once again. I'm glad I finally found it."

My name is John Barker, check card in right pocket for CID (DO NOT LOSE THIS CARD). I was born in Greentown, Illnois in (It appears to be damaged by water the text is smudged and illegible).

I believe I am fifty-five years old and I have a Master's degree in history from the University of Chicago(There are some books on the topics of Ancient Rome, World-War II, and the Cold War in the corner if you feel like you must refresh your knowledge).

You have a wife and three kids, do not forget to pray for their safety you haven't seen them in a few years and don't remove your wedding ring. There is a bible in the top drawer of your nightstand, it is a book that contains the words of God.

During the day a siren will sound, it will tell you to go to the warehouse to do some work. Your supervisors are friendly, but do not trust them too much. There is a map outside your apartment, look at if you need to know where to go.

There is cross necklace around your neck, keep it tucked into your shirt. If the police(those wearing armor and gas masks)see it they will take it from you and give you beating that's not good for your mental state.

Remind yourself what your name is and where you're from five times a day atleast.

Be safe for yourself, Sophia(Your wife), Adam(Your first son), Thaddeus(Your second son), and Jasmine(Your Daughter)
~Yourself

(The letter repeats itself on the backside of the paper, it would seem this one of many copies and it was just lying on the ground)
