Jack Delaney

"Stuck between russians I don't get, a kid, Oliver Twist and then you, Sheriff? Hell, I'm home."
Jack Delaney to Wyatt Dunlap, KROT Base
"I'm not a good person, Jacob. Never did a good thing in my life."

Jack Delaney to Jacob Hibbler, KROT Base
"Y'all are still stuck in civilisation. Me? I'm in the wild."
Jack Delaney

Jack, firstly, is antagonistic and outspoken. Secondly, he's reliable and actually loyal to a fault despite his nature to deceive and annoy people all at once.
An optimistic cynic. Sometimes he might make a situation worse just by talking, besides that he has a small and tiny distrust of people though he thrives on personal connections. It makes him slightly ashamed of himself.
To most, he's probably a jackass. To some, he might just be a good man.

"Hey, Jack."
My head was killing that time, pounding even. I could still taste the vodka from the night before. Must've been heavy... I can feel my stomach flipping already. I'd spent six days in Russia with this guy... Luke.
Hadn't found jackshit.

"Jackass, wake up. Think that's the guy? You got the coin?"

Jack nodded, looking up from his seat up toward Luke. Luke was the same height as him, brown hair, brown eyes so dark you'd think they were black. Jack knew the routine. The world had changed since the first portal's sightings, the creatures that stormed onto Earth in packs - many places weren't kind to folk who didn't live there. Russia wasn't any different.

The blonde haired man stood tall and walked over to the bar with his chin high in the air, a smile settled across his features as he approached the pointed 'polish who speaks english' man.

"Howdy there, buy you a drink? I'm celebratin'! Found a fortune..." Jack said with a sly smile on his face.
There were people I ain't never cared for, who I've done it to. This guy weren't no different. Just another schmuck with a few pieces of eight I could con out of his pockets.
Get a guy hot over a unique coin, get a friend to bet a ridiculous amount of money and see who dares to bet higher.
It worked too. Poor bastard wasted every penny out of his wallet and then we split it fifty-fifty. That's who I am.

The Big Bad Wolf.

Abilities and Skillsets

Firearms Training: Jack, before meeting the Long Haulers and the Russians had only fired one bullet. Since joining them he's had a lot more time to handle both rifles and pistols adequately.
Melee Weapon Training: Jack is tall and when he can eat properly, isn't the weakest person. He could wield an axe fairly well.
Hand-to-Hand Combat: He has long reach and a good mind for fighting, and usually plays dirty to win fights he finds himself in. He's not above anything.
Jack of All Trades, Master of None: Jack has had a life of adaptation. He is quite skilled in a variety of manual labour jobs and is well versed with people, which helped as a conman. With his fine ability to adapt, he learns quickly with menial skills - but can never master them.
