-BACKSTORY-

-Childhood-

Jimmy Talio, born March 19th 1986 in San Terenzo, La Spezia of north Italy. As a young boy, Jimmy spent most of his time focusing on school and trying to make a life for himself. At an early age Jimmy showed love for cooking. Waking every morning with one of his mother's homemade breakfasts and ending the day with a well prepared meal. His mother Alice was an excellent cook, and he wanted to be just as good. She taught him her recipes passed down from the early generations of the Talio family, techniques, and the best way to source fresh ingredients. Over time Jimmy began to become an excellent cook, at just 16 years old he could cook at a professional level.

As the years went by unfortunately for Jimmy, his father however was not as impressed. He complained that Jimmy was weak, soft, he said that there was no way that Jimmy could make it in the real world. He tried to warn him of the harsh cruel reality that life is, he asked Jimmy to give up on cooking and come work with him at the Talio cigar store. When Jimmy declined, his cooking career ended as soon as it began, his father in attempt to toughen Jimmy and "teach him a hard lesson" would often beat him with a leather belt. He was banned Jimmy from cooking and was told to leave it to his "stay at home" mother Alice. Jimmy, obviously in a state of depression turned to something else, music. He was fascinated with the 90' Grunge era, his favorite albums consisting of "Nevermind, Dookie, In Utero and Weezer". He would listen to them almost religiously, It wasn't soon after that his father got wind of this. His father despised this type of music, he said it was a "Obnoxiously terrible".

One night Jimmy sat atop his bed strumming his authentic Fender Mustang, listening to Nevermind over his Walkman when his drunk low-life father storms in. In a fit of rage he grabs Jimmy by his plaid shit and throws him to the ground, Jimmy being in this situation a thousand times looks his father in the eye as he takes off his leather belt, but something was different. Instead of bracing for the incoming inevitable beating he was about the receive, he clenched his fist, grit his teeth and lunged toward his father, hauling off and punching him straight in the jaw. Jimmy delivered such a blow of pent up anger that it knocked his father to the floor, Jimmy takes a step back and realizes what he has just done. In a panic, he grabs his guitar and his Walkman and runs to the door. He sprints down the dark street with his guitar in one hand and his Walkman in the other, running off into the night.

-On The Run-

Jimmy, a teenager on the run manages to hitchhike his way to Livorno, a small Italian city south of Pisa. With nothing but the clothes on his back, his guitar and his music. He walks into a small local pasta place, he is welcomed by another young man by the name of Tim running the counter. Upon walking up to the counter Jimmy was questioned about his guitar, Tim asked if Jimmy played. Jimmy nodded as he placed a few euros down for a meal, Tim gave off a smile and told Jimmy that he was a drummer and was looking to start a band. Jimmy returned with a grin saying that he would love to but he is worried about other things at the moment, like finding a new place to live and a job. Tim nodded and asked what Jimmy was good at, Jimmy responded by saying he had a passion for cooking and music. Upon hearing this Tim mentioned that the last chef that worked at this place was just recently fired due to incompetency and that they were looking for a replacement. Tim even offered to allow Jimmy to sleep in the cellar basement if he would be willing to start a band with him. Jimmy still grinning, accepted.

Jimmy lived and worked at that pasta place well throughout the end of his teens , it wasn't much but for him it was freedom. Finally away from his abusive father, his only regret was that he never said goodbye to his mother. How he missed her, but he couldn't go back, not after what he had done. Jimmy made enough money working at the pasta place to get himself an apartment, a ride, and enough savings to get him through whatever life threw at him. He would even make a bit of bonus cash at the end of the week for playing gigs at local bars with his new friend Tim and their bass player Lui. Together they became a local sensation, they called themselves "Juice". Jimmy would often get recognized in the street, he even made into the local newspaper and appeared a few times on television. Things really seemed to turning around for Jimmy.

-The Gig-

One night, Jimmy and the boys were taking a gig down at some bar. Regular night for Jimmy, the place was packed. They played for about an hour and once they were finished the bar started to clear out. Slowly the people shuffled out, Tim was telling him about how he and Lui were going to head back to the pasta place for a few drinks, probably spend the night. Jimmy nodded and agreed to meet them there in around an hour. Timmy and Lui shuffled out with the remaining few people, the once lively bar was now empty except for the bartenders and janitor. Jimmy grabbed his guitar case and walked out the back.

Upon the walking out the back, the sound of the heavy metal door slamming behind him we walked to his car, it was a rainy and foggy night. He approached the driver side of his car and set his guitar down to reach for his keys, he takes his keys and inserts them into the door. He looks into the glass and sees a figure behind him, then things go black.

Jimmy is woke to the very same man standing before him, his father. It is now that Jimmy finally realizes who is father really is, his whole life Jimmy was under the impression that his father was no more than a low-life cigar store owner, but in reality he was a actually the under boss for a crime organization. His father explained that he had gotten a tip from some connection in Livorno. He explained that he had a "guy" following Jimmy for about a week now. His father explained that he didn't want to hurt Jimmy, just that he wanted to tell him the truth and how he felt, he couldn't have just walked up to Jimmy because he would have called the police. He offered to let Jimmy go if he so pleased, he explained that since Jimmy left his father had become a changed man and realized that Jimmy could in fact stand up for himself. He explained that he was very proud.

-City 24-

Jimmy obviously feeling a lot of emotions asked to leave, his father just nodded and let him go. Not long after the portal storms happened, then the seven hour war. It all went by so fast for Jimmy, it wasn't long before Jimmy was captured and sent to City 38. He spent some time there before being subject to "random relocation" and moving to City 24.

Jimmy now in City 24 as an outcast decided to grab a bite at a local spot by the name of "Little Italy", sounds just like home. Upon walking in he was greeted by a man in a flatcap with a brown suit jacket on by the name of Gustavo. Gustavo as a fellow friendly Italian man who decided to help Jimmy out by giving him a job, a place to stay, food, clothing and most importantly a friend. Not long after Jimmy found his long lost friend Tim. Despite everything Jimmy felt he was finally at home. Gustavo explained he was more than just a restaurant owner but instead a business man, or rather a man with connections. Jimmy and Tim worked under Gustavo until his death in the industrial sector of City 17.

-The Fall Of The Gypsy-

The death of Gus tore up Jimmy and Tim, sent them both into a state of depression. Jimmy now expected to step up to the plate, decided to do so with pride. He could never live up to the standards Gus had set forth be he could sure try. The Gypsy's once thriving group a was in shambles. Jimmy had to pick up the slack and rebuild everything. He decided to form a new group atop the foundation Gus had built and continues his work to this day.

One of Gus's main guys. Got to know him quite well actually, I remember him being a friendly and loyal guy. Shame he passed away during one of Gus's plans, sure did lose a great man that day. One of the boys, good luck in the afterlife my friend.
