Steam Name: John Halo
SteamID: STEAM_0:0:104817329

Name of the Admin you were warned by: MazuzaM
The reason you were warned?: For destroying a gun with my fists in a S2K scenario
Why do you wish to have the warning removed?:

I wish for this warning to be removed as it is extremely unnecessary to warn someone for having to destroy a vender-spawned gun in a middle of what was a S2K scenario, along with being the only fully-able conscript present who had to deal with another injured man by having to take him to the clinic. I was not going to leave that gun on a wall- in the event someone somehow got into the base and there was a free gun for them to take.

Before Mazuza mentions that I did a /request to search for a missing MP5 in the clinic, that was because I suspected that Amelie Dupont still had her MP5. Believing that Schmidt and Osamu were the ones who had dropped their against the attack from the Gonome

Secondly, if we are enforcing FailRP warns for breaking 'MP5s' with no /me. Then start warning people for breaking cans, jars, whole organic matter amongst other things from existence by that logic.

Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?:

Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: @FelixPius was there when I destroyed the gun

Hello, thank you for making this appeal.

The reason I had warned you is because it was reported to me that the MP5A3 the whole Civil Protection was looking for was destroyed by yourself with fists, which is almost never done in public unless it's items of low value (e.g. plastic garbage) or do not have any importance to the Roleplay Scenario.

The Civil Protection was looking for Dupont's MP5 and logs had shown that she had dropped it onto the floor and you just punched it to destroy it along your excuse being that you did not have enough space.

[2024-05-31 19:26:37] CG-3 Amélie Dupont has lost a 'MP5A3' #3237780.

[2024-05-31 19:33:50] SG-2 Mac Heystek destroyed a 'MP5A3' #3237780.

If it was just another item then I would've let it slide, but with the matching IDs and the roleplay that you created I decided to issue a formal warning as basically a whole faction was looking for a non existing item.

I won't judge the appeal as I usually would given I am the warning Admin, Server Council or Neonity will likely be the judges of it.

It was by another conscript, and I don't have any access to the IDs so how the hell was I meant to know it was precisely the same one Dupont had kept?
Also- if you actually read the post. You'd see that I suspected Osamu and Schmidt to have lost their weapons as they also fought off the gonome

I've decided to keep this warning in place.

Simply put, you did commit the action you were warned for, and it's considerably unrealistic to just punch a gun to death. Punching any script to destroy it is frowned upon, but less so for smaller items like plastic garbage and such, because we can chalk it up to a character just ripping it up, or destroying it because they don't want to litter items around the map.

DENIED.
