Physical Attributes and Demeanour
Jordan is a 6 foot man of bordering ectomorphic build, having a tall-thin stature. He appears well groomed with a smart fifties era haircut and stubble-shaved beard with a rounded face shape. He wears a clean set of citizen fatigues or uniform (dependent on situation) with a small satchel slung around his right shoulder. He appears to smell rather pleasant, and greets most with a warm smile and gesture of politeness, most commonly in the form of a handshake.

Jordan appears charismatic and likable, from his pleasant demeanour to noticeable Belgian mannerisms, an attribute he uses to his advantage in promoting his own social status and likability. He is gentleman-like, polite and respectful in the presence of those he deems to be advantageous to his own self-image. Hidden behind his smile lies motives unclear to even to those who know him best, as peeling back layers could reveal a very different person.

Character Timeline:

Humble Beginnings:

Little is known about Jordan's early life, as despite his expressive nature his origins remain rather tight-lipped on his formative years. Jordan was born in Belgium on July 8th 1985 to Jacque and Charlotte Le'Chereau, living in the rural countryside along with his three older brothers. From a young age, Jordan was recognised to be academically gifted, pursuing high grades and tertiary education in Communications, Sociology and Business studies. He speaks of his time working in various executive office jobs and bureaucratic positions to which he reminisces about on occasion.

City Twenty-Four, Part I - The Hard Times:

Jordan speaks of his journey truly beginning in City Twenty-Four, newly inducted into the system with no monetary or social credit to his name, he did as many others did to survive. He would learn very quickly that a warm smile counts for nothing when you're considered less than nothing, he had chosen early on that selling out his fellow citizen would earn him favour to his oppressors. Showing no empathy for others, he would use any slip-up, any wrong doing to inflate his own credibility and sink others in the arms-race of proving loyalty. This would be an adapted behaviour that he would carry through countless relocations to come. Aside from this, he attended all mandated work shifts for pitiful meal reward and small increase in social credits, to him this was worth every back-breaking shift. It seemed clear to him that proving his "devotion" to the cause was his ticket to power and influence in this new backwards world. After many months of this, he amongst many others were transported to City 8.

City Eight - Ministry Pencil-Pushing:

City Eight brought to many the opportunity for personal growth and prosperity, for Jordan however, social status growth would be a gruelling, labour-mandated struggle. He would continue his intensive labour shifts for meagre rewards until one day, as if by chance, a poster advertising "Help Wanted" at the Ministry of Enlightenment. Given his current status as little more than a tier one supporter, this position was far from glamorous and consisted of primarily serving drinks and transporting papers to local businesses. He did, however, manage to convince his manager to give him additional responsibilities as and was promoted to the position of interim script writer, perhaps through charismatic negotiation or simply luck. This allowed Jordan to be excused from manual work shifts, putting his talents of office work to use and fashioning a more comfortable way of living. He continued to write scripts for presenters, announcers and tele-programming hosts for the duration of his stay within the city, his only gripe being that credit for his work was taken by those who spoke his words. This position was short-held however, as before long he was transferred along with most of the population to Terminal 7.

Terminal 7, Part 1 - Desolation and Conscription:

Jordan served briefly with the Terminal 7 conscription service 'Daisy's Lightning' detachment , perhaps an act of unwavering loyalty to the Universal Union or a means to inflate his own status within the local sector. He attended several deployments to which he only sustained superficial injuries, adding his experiences to his memoir. Whether Jordan actually saw any action or risked his life for the service is up for debate, despite his claims, but this badge of service would surely work in his favour for elevating his status. Upon company redeployment, Jordan remained in the terminal to pursue greener pastures.

Terminal 7, Part 2 - Civil Worker Charter:

After being rendered redundant from the conscription service, Jordan latched himself on to the first available union in order to maintain his elevated status, the Civil Workers Union. The formative months of his employment led him to become involved in more manual duties, such as repairs and conducting work cycles, a monotonous existence he'd frequently express dissatisfaction with. An opportunity arose to assist in the formulation of the Department of Business, an office-based pencil-pushing role which allowed Jordan to hold more authority over his peers, specifically in the commercial sector.
