TURNER SUPPORTS THE REFORMISTS
"I'm here today to confront the elephant in the room. What my Administration has witnessed over the last twelve hours has left an indelible imprint on the District's security and assurance. Yesterday evening at ten o'clock p.m., a peaceful demonstration was infiltrated by opportunistic Resistance agents; these individuals, like cunning wolves among sheep, prowled into the gathering and purposely derailed the sanctity of the affair, taking up arms against the provincial Civil Protection functionaries with steel rods, whips, and rubber truncheons. The Internal Committee of the District Congress, together with the Ministry of Civil Protection, were aware of these persons' subversive activities and maintained full surveillance on them up until their recent intrusion, and by doing so were swiftly apprehended. We're in full vindication that these Underclass members are guilty of all counts of sabotage against the Party, espionage, blackmail of high-ranking Party officials, distillation and production of illicit substances, and solicitation of anti-Party material to members of the Workforce."
"This heinous act will not dissuade my Administration from delivering the demands of the people. — We have been in direct liaison with C-L-C representatives, and we are working together against the clock to reinstate the 'Safety Workers Act of 2018' in District Nine. The bill seeks to reinstate a number of regulations enacted by Legislative Assembly Chairman Horuma Hirokumi to ensure worker safety and impregnability. In times like these, it is incumbent upon you all to remind yourself of the destructive and damaging effects of Magical Thinking, and to provide your complete, unshakable cooperation and support to your Protectorate."
