You're one of the few units I've ever felt a certain of in authenticity. You truly seem to care about your fellow units—almost to a point of self-sacrifice.

Initial thoughts:
Strange history, you and I. From petty spats and white-knuckled fists to mutual respect and understanding. Maybe we both just had shit to purge from our systems that day.

Regardless, you've shaped up to be a proper unit with keen insight and worthy intellectual input. I'd almost consider you an advisor if such a thing existed in our line of work. Good back and forths.

You'll be a good rank leader one day.

A proper colleague. I always favored your neutrality and casual attitude, despite stressful times in our work. Predictable and reliable—traits far too rare in the Civil Protection, unfortunately.




VICE-0 (@Ozzekiel) - Amigo
Initial thoughts:
Smarter than you let on, which can be deceptively dangerous. You keep subordinates on their toes with your wit and command, which I admire.

For what it's worth, I apologize for making you and HELIX's job harder now that JUDGE and XRAY are dead. Double the work for you as rank leaders, but they've likely put new blood in their places now.

I could write a novel-worth of words on every account I've personally witnessed your childish temper tantrums and overcompensating flexes of authority.

But I'm not gonna do that, because you're not worth that effort. I don't think you're gonna change, and holding a grudge is just gonna clutter my head with more plaque. This position is stressful enough.

Either sort your shit or cállate la boca.

I don't dislike you, but I am particularly... Lukewarm. You do harebrained stunts and used to always stick to the hip of a rank leader like you were a newborn. Came off as ass-kissing.

But you're trying. I can tell that much.

I want to like you, but your ego holds you back. You carry this air of superiority around you and feign friendliness—like your words are holding some ulterior motive.

I know your imperfections. I've seen them firsthand. Stop calling everyone an idiot and learn some humility.

Another example of my mercy coming back to bite me. I should've put a bullet in you back in District Nine, yet I hesitated. Why did I hesitate...? Did I feel guilt, seeing you recoil and beg for forgiveness? No, I've seen that reaction far too many times for me to back out.

Maybe I just felt inclined to give you a chance, considering our history. Maybe I gave you some benefit of the doubt. Maybe I felt it poetic to let you stew in your own misery just a bit longer until finally deciding to hover that barrel between your eyes.

Consider your final moments to be an act of mercy, rather than what I did for you in District Nine. Rest now, mujer malvada.




XRAY-0 (@Tengu) - Comodín
Initial thoughts:
You inhibited a lot of traits from your teacher, but seemed to adapt far quicker than she did. Your malice was always evident, but I admire that about you. It's a good motivator. I see a lot of potential in you. If you've not been made rank leader yet, it'll be done the moment I return from this hellhole.
