DAY 1

Wilburt O'Hair found himself to be a fortunate man. He was granted passage to City Twenty-Four's Central Hospital in the midst of the rioting and starvation, his loyalty status granting him this rare privilege.

"Will I come back?" he thought to himself as his train pulled out of the station. His long time friend Gottfried solemnly waving him off from the platform.

A small suitcase lay at O'Hair's feet, having been all he packed for the journey. A change of clothes, cologne, razor... and a book. Shakespeare Poetry Volume 1.

The train ride was not long at all. O'Hair arrived and was escorted to a - in Union terms- state of the art Hospital. He sat in a brightly lit room for hours, the walls a stained yellowish tint. Coughing into his arm he began to relax after the first ten minutes, bored at the first two hours. Picking out his book from the suitcase he began to read some Shakespeare poetry.

A man entered the room on the third hour. Doctor perhaps with their lab coat. They asked O'Hair some questions then explained he would have to wait until the morning for started treatment.

"It'll be a quick procedure for your lung cancer... with a good rate of success on our part! We just developed a new technique, isn't Union technology wonderful?"

He was led to a ward with sick people, many quarantined and tended to by doctors in hazmat suits. Most likely the spore infection or some new disease.

Given a bed he was left with no food or water. Left to his thoughts and the sound of dying people around him.

He didn't sleep that night.

DAY 3

Day two was a blur. The train arrives at the station. O'Hair has returned. He is now a man of good health, free from Cancer.

He however now faces a new danger with his new set of lungs.
