although i completely agree he powergamed pulling out the pipe

staff probably shouldn't do /me's like that? Although it makes sense, blood stains aren't really that easy to get out. and blunt weapons, especially to the head, can cause a lot more bleeding that sharp ones. idk, i'd -support this.
 
I was actually present when you ragequit, here's my two cents.

It took you five seconds to rage at the admin that pointed out the blood stains, your rage was instant and your ragequit came right after OTA knocked you out. You werent there but another admin actually arrived to the scene to (i think) void that situation. I specifically remember one coming and trying to talk to you about how one just shouldnt be PKed like this while you were in the process of ragequitting and your disconnect came at the same time as that.

I genuinely respect the player of Jessica Parker for enduring such an absurd roleplay they were provided by you and I hope you see you were this close to come clean before you raged out. Get a hold of your feelings man.

I will add myself that post quitting and ban, your behavior from the snippets I've seen has been nothing short of awful. To the point where during a voice call with myself and MINT, you openly attempted to blackmail him by threatening to tell others about a certain "Fart" /it incident that took place earlier that day (A total non-issue, and a light-hearted group RP between a few friends myself being one of them) Failing to both understand how god awful that looks to somebody who's trying to get themselves reinstated as a player on the server and just how far you're willing to go in order to not face the possibility that there may be some valid criticism being handed to you. If you're willing to perform such actions against a member of staff, what are we supposed to think if we ever allowed you to back into the server again? Your willingness to omit information for "IC reasons" to me makes no valid argument. Over a decade of playing and I've yet to see somebody openly not give out information when being spoken to by administrators. Do you know how that looks to staff, Kaligni? It doesn't look like you're afraid of metagaming, It looks like you're just using it as a loose cover for something you didn't actually think of during the actions performed. For the purposes of this incident, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you did have some kind of "IC way" of getting rid of that corpse but it doesn't look good from the outside.

If memory serves, you were already denied the capacity to become any kind of serial killer in the first place as you had needed a reason to start hacking characters up. I am unknown as to whether another member of staff has since permitted you, but I don't think you quite grasp just how powerful of a character a serial killer is. What if PK's had been involved? You could literally snuff out days, weeks, even months of somebodies hard earned character development on a whim. That alone is enough to start angering players. How would you feel if somebody just, decided to murder one of your best characters because you just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? It wouldn't feel great. Even without the possibility of PK, NLR still disrupts a passive roleplaying experience when they have no choice in the matter and there's powergaming involved.

As far as I'm concerned Kaligni - You have no weight, nor right to begin calling foul on this ban. It was due to your own action. As MINT stated in his reply to this thread - No detail, no function, no result. If you're not willing to put the effort into performing something correctly, then you shouldn't be reaping the results of it.
 
Let me also chime in as the person who spotted you doing this RP and calling moderators over: you put zero effort into your RP (both the murder and the cleanup) to do something which you were told not to do (murder/serial killer people), then proceed to use a character trait which was specifically denied (serial killer) as an excuse to continue. As we have the freedom policy, the admins let you continue - but sadly for you freedom policy does not liberate you from any consequences.

So... for as far as I am concerned, you pick between your ban for D/C to avoid RP, or you get a ban for the abhorrent RP you forced us to witness. You can't have your cake and eat it. Also: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
 
The admin solution to someone doing powergaming is to intervene and moderate NOT to then say "fair is fair" and powergame them.
That's obscene and childish. It's like losing at pretend then making up new rules to fuck over the person.

Bad RP is more a social crime not a rule break. IF you wanted him to do better RP/RP cleaning more - then fucking tell him at the TIME.

I left Pierce and Pierce because I saw that is was literally an american psycho meme and they were just going to start popping people (even changed my PFP to distance myself) but this is the pot calling the kettle black.

EDIT: If so many admins/mods saw his "bad" rp why the fuck did you not stop it. The more you all chime in and say it was bad. The more water his argument actually holds, because you are PARTY to it by extension.
 
The character isn’t an American psycho character, it’s just a character I made with the intent of being similar to American psycho, stuck up Wall Street schmuks who cope with insecurities through murder

This is a complete lie. You never stopped the RP or told me I couldn’t be a serial killer. I can’t believe you have the audacity to lie on a ban appeal.

it’s like the requirements to kill anyone are:
They have to kill 2 of your friends
You have to warn them 3 hours before
You have to do it in a way that won’t make anyone mad

I was going to actually dispose of the corpse but the corpse disappeared. I was going to chuck it out of a railing on the other side of the city

I didn’t request to be a serial killer retard I don’t have to request anything it’s all IC, but of course Adam CF the genius who knows everything.
