Kawashima was still young when the occupation came, losing both his parents and the fate of his elder brother becoming unknown as he was assimilated into Combine control. Luckily he remained in the Itabashi-Kita District residing in the local slums as little more than a laborer at the warehouses and denizen of City-8. Getting sick of Artificial Paste and Breen's water cans as his sustenance, Kichirou began setting up games of dice - 7's and 11's. This is where he earned the affectionate nickname 'Squirt' from the local rabble as he was generally one of the younger degenerates that frequented the slums. Soon enough, Squirt's tenacity and honest nature was noticed by a Shateigashira of the Kamiko Family where he soon after became associated with the Family.

THE PRESENT

Initially, as just a lowly associate of the Kamiko Family, Kawashima would do odd jobs like collecting rent, escorts, deliveries, and message carrying. As the family was put into a tight spot after the death of the Hound, Squirt proved himself in the Hogo Brawl at the Cyberia. An event in which he just barely escaped with his life due to the intervention of Gaijin cops, only being saved from weapons charges by a local - Chollima. With Baek's support, Squirt ascended into the Family as a Little Brother or Shatei by the hand of Ozaki-dono himself. Eager to prove himself, he has now entangled himself in almost every day-to-day operation of the Kamiko Family
