Even though it wasn't even your place to begin with. Though the ISOCF never really worked out, you were one of my best comrades. With the creation of the MAA Division within the city you returned to your duties and even got a hefty promotion to a command rank. Well done for that buddy! I heard you all got deployed not too long ago, and I've rarely seen you since... I hope you're keeping your nose clean friend and watch those in your close circle closely, for they may not have the best intentions.

successful, but they mostly fell on deaf ears. After you were so reckless to tell us over radio to "switch frequencies and to stop transmitting" I was taken in for questioning and promptly shot in my leg... I still haven't quite forgiven you for this.

When I first met you, you were very shy. You kept to yourself and rarely talked to me. But as the days kept going you opened up more to me. You cared for me when I was shot in my leg, helping me up stairs and to move around. You even comforted me when we were alone. I'll never forget the moments we shared alone... I'm terribly sorry for what happened to you on that day, having to be in splints for so long, it must've been painful for you. I promise I'll try my best to keep you safe from the shadows now. Watch Gus closely, he's a bad egg and not to be trusted! When I read through your journal, it pained me to see what I read... I wasn't sure what to think anymore about you and I feel us growing more and more apart because of it. I hope you two will one day be happy together, but I can't help but feel sadness... I know I never really got to know you. Personally, I've never trusted your kind... But you showed such a selfless side to you kind, one that's willing to risk everything to save the life of a species that was once out to kill you. I know the CMU misses their quartermaster a lot, and that you can not be replaced that easily. Even when faced with death, you didn't try to escape. You accepted your fate with open arms, knowing what you did was the right thing to do. If things had been different I'd have hoped I could've gotten to know you better. I only feel guilt about your passing. Had I taken a different approach, you would probably still be here with your kin. I'm sorry, I'd wished it would have been me that could have pulled that trigger and held the guilt closer to my heart. At first I thought you were rather chill, but the more I got to know you, the more I felt like something was off about you. I know now what that is, I just can't prove it yet. Some of you are good, some of you not so much. I heard about how one of you lot lead one of our Protection Teams into an ambush. If I ever find you, you'll pay for it. Good on you lot to finally turn the place around, with shops opening up and the travel restrictions removed we might finally see civilized society return to your hell hole.

I'm not going to waste a single moment anymore. Any chance I get to kill one of you fuckers I'll take! You've taken my friend yet again. I'm so damn tired of you lot.
A loud kick is heard, the door flies off its hinges and drops down. Multiple officers rush into the room.
"On it! Watch my shadow."
"Hmm... Oh, shit."
"Hmm... Oh, shit."
The unit promptly switches tabs to another unit's datafile.
"What is it Niner?"
"They hacked into the PDA, they decrypted one of the functionary datafiles. Looks like it's.... X-3"
"Damn, alright everyone! Ripcord. Bag and tag anything related to those two. We'll find them eventually!"
The protection team leaves, but KING-9 stands in the doorway for a moment longer. He looks around the room one last time, wondering who now knows his secrets, and why they wanted it in the first place.
