THE TRUE CITIZEN'S LIBRARY PRESENTS:
LOYALIST LITERATURE CONTEST
Have you always wanted to make your mark on modern CMB literature? Now you can.
This 7-day contest will give you, the ordinary man, a chance to make a permanent contribution to the realm of unionist ideas, and see you handsomely rewarded for your writing abilities. Your book will have the honor of being sold on the shelves of every local library, and perhaps even garner worldwide attention some day.
HOW IT WORKS:
Submit a title and an excerpt of your book to our library's intranet address, alongside your name and CID. ((make a forum PM and include myself, @Merlinsclaw & @RogueSynapse. Link us a google doc or just write the whole thing out in the PM itself))
The judges of the library will carefully review your product, and a winner will be announced on Friday.
PRIZES
1ST PLACE: 200 CREDITS & A mysterious souvenir
2ND PLACE: 150 CREDITS & A free copy of 'MEGA-CP' book
3RD PLACE: 100 CREDITS
(The winners' works will be printed and sold at the True Citizen's Library. A percentage of the profits may go to the author.)
RULES:
- Book submissions must not exceed 1000 words.
- NO Anti-Civil ideas or themes! We WILL report you to Civil Protection.
- You may write about any subject so long as CMB law permits it.

Some works we would like to see:
Comedic entries based on the absurdities of Combine society. Xenians, underclasses, etc.
Political entries advocating for societal reform
Gripping novels following the dangerous lives of CP units, conscripts, CMU paramedics and other brave professions.
Important epochs of Universal Union's history, unionist revision of falsely perceived past events.
GOOD LUCK
GLORY

OOC:
if it hasn't already gone without saying,, we'll look into getting your books made into actual scripts in the server
don't feel pressured to become the next george RR martin, we're not looking for perfection here, we just want to do a fun little thing for a fun little crowd, we don't care if you're a bad writer, you could write a 200 word short story in 20 minutes and that would be enough for us to consider it
