This is NOT the finished product, more lore will come!

The year is 218 AD.. And some how, in some near impossible way. The Portal storms have occurred across the globe. The Roman Empire, Parthian Empire, and Han Dynasty were affected the most. With a population of only 200 Million, humanity looked doom.. But not quite. After 2 decades, the Vortigaunts became Neutral to either side, seemingly trying to stay out of it, the fourth decade seeing the end of the portal storms...
The population of Humanity was now a 109 Million.. Quite a drop. The history of this will go from 200 AD to 1500 AD

EUROPE
The European continent was hit badly, causing the collapse of the Roman Empire. Allowing such areas as the English Channel, Franks, and many Spanish kingdoms to cede, and a revolt in Sicily. Majority of the land being unclaimed, allowing those with ambitious intentions to form kingdoms. Such as Jehanne Moulin II to form the Royaume De Hamarisa (Kingdom Of Hamarisa) near Brittany France. The king believed that 'All Vortigaunts are demons' and began a campaign to torture and kill all Vorigaunts in the kingdoms region. This did not help due to the large infestation in France of which hindered most kingdoms expansion, and ability to rule. Germatic tribes had to deal with a large sum of Bullsquids, a whole region of central Germany being home to majority Bullsquids, hunting, and eating.


Scandinavia had a turn in how they worked, in fact the portal storms made the 'Viking Tradition' come early but in a more Spiritual and Tribalistic sense. Artic Antlions that have adapted to the snow ran rapid in modern day Denmark and Norway. The 'Clan of Erik' of which was a coastal one believed that 'they were one with the 'Stora sadana' (Grand ones, referring to the Vortigaunts) naturally becoming allies and following their ways. This became so big, it turned into a religion that most Nordic countries would follow for centuries. It was named 'Vorgai'ikoal' which is Vortigese, which has yet to be translated. Iceland, was not effected as badly as one would think, in terms of their land it remained some what the same.. However, near the south the 'Eldberi' (Fire Bearer, referring to the Gargantua) roamed these lands, ruling them with a Iron fist.. Some say, once you see it. You die. Besides the Eldberi, bullsquids and houndeyes were at a 'normal' population of the land, same with the headcrab. Scandinavia was at the end of the day, given the 'easy end of the sword'




Eastern Europe was not the mess it became in 800 AD. The events that lead up to it is a lot. The Slavic tribes were split from north to south, as majority of the center of what was the Slavic Tribes is now owned by the Vortigaunt, who are now at war with all Slavic tribes in the area. In the south near Crimea and some parts of the Bulgarian region of the Byzantine empire. The Race-X species such as Shock Troopers, Pit drones, and Vortigore ran wild, dominating the near by land in small numbers. in 700 AD a Vortigaunt named 'Keeikn'loig Poinaja' had formed the 'Keeikata Lojhag' which translate to 'Keeik's Tribe', which had consisted of 56% Vortigaunt, and 40% humans, and 4% Alien Grunts oddly enough. The Tribe had grown massive power, nearly controlling all of southern eastern Europe before quickly collapsing after the Keeikn'loig was killed.




The British Isles were divided on large from the Portal storms.. However, the Humans and Race-X Species all fought for power in the region, the Xenians such as Vortigaunts were more native in Scotland. "FOR THE KING!" was yelled by a man named 'George Louis the VI, who as a very influential man who died fighting 300 Shock Troopers alone, killing half of them.. This battle was respected so much, Vortigaunts, and Shock Troopers alike echoed this to themselves to remember their Honorable Battle. Such Kingdoms as the Kingdom of England was formed rather early on due to the collapse of the Roman Empire, however the weren't as big nor 'English' as they would have been. Still at a full scale war with the Race-X species. On the coast fishermen would be getting used to Leeches and Itchyosaurs on the coast. Scotland was big for their Vortigaunts.. And Ireland was huge for their Bullsquid riders in the late 1200's.

MIDDLE EAST
The land of which is home to many antlion nests, and weirdly enough.. A large route for any Xenian beings up north to Migrate through. Near the coast of modern day Yemen, a small community of Persians who migrated with the Vortigaunts formed the 'Fuusiara Caliphate', which became one of the rare countries to have land off of its own continent. Fuusiara having ports in modern day Somalia. In 300 AD, any one who dared travel the deserts of Arabia could notice very large sums of Gonarchs migrating from Turkey down to Africa, and appeared neutral unless provoked, which many dumb enough did.. Only one case where one was killed by a group of warriors. Ja'far Muhammed and his warriors were able to encircle a Gonarch along side a 2 Vortigaunts, and slay it successfully, via attacking its Sack. The warriors then took off the Gonarchs leg plating, and its plating on its head using it as Armor.. A armed group of 200 with the scales of a Gonarch as armor, they quickly became the most feared warriors in the land, gaining a legendary status. Such a status that they staged a coup in the Fuusiara Caliphate, Ja'far Muhammed the I taking control, expanding their territory further north.



Modern day Persia looked like your average Modern African country, if it was Xenian Species instead of ethnicities. Race-X, Alien grunts, Vortigaunts, your every day Xenian creatures roamed these lands in mass.. But one thing was known. And that was the fact that the Persian lands is one of the extremely rare cases of having Xen Crystals, which some have touched, going into the border world. Very few have made it back. Up in the large mountains, the 'Tentacle' aka the large green thing, protruded from the cliffs, killing any and all that alert it. Caves having Barnacles and headcrab nests within them. Somewhere near the center of the Persian mountains lays rumor of the King Pin, however, no known evidence supports of its existence. Around 600-700 AD Nomadic tribesmen began to use Panthereyes as their new horses, through long, and dangerous taming with the assistance of Vortigaunts.




The Gonarch Migration was a odd instance of where over 2000 Gonarchs fled modern day Turkey to Africa. The Gonarchs in modern day Turkey were being slaughtered one by one by Nomads and Vortigaunts, and even Race-X species.. Thus began their migration, to safer lands. 100 of which migrated to the large land mass of Russia. In terms of how many Gonarchs there are, they are 'technically' considered endangered, due to them still being hunted on mass in Africa, Middle East, and Russia. Mainly for their rich protective scale as armor.

AMERICA
The Native Americas were hit rather quick. America, oddly enough had a large sum of Alien Controllers, or what was left of them. Same with Vortigaunts. In the lush forests and deserts of America, it was oddly peaceful, if you ignore the Xenian creatures that roamed the land.
Tribesmen made a rather quick understanding with the Vortigaunts, rarely having any infighting with each other. Such figures known as Uniqa Veiw and Dakota Elu forming the 'Kingdom of Uniqa Elu' which was ruled by them both. Owning territory near the great lakes. On rare instances of those in the Persian mountains that touched the Xen crystals going into the border world and back would sometimes appear here, in fact through out the course of 500 years only 40 of those in the Persian lands ever made it to the Native Americas. 4 in modern day Cuba.



The Alien Grunts near the south part of modern day America all united forming the 'Aghaka Clan', 1000 Strong, which was crazy large for a Alien Grunt clan, especially in these times. The Aghaka Clan expanded quickly, dominating the land, even recruiting those who were deemed loyal. By the third year of their formation, they had 1150 Alien Grunts, and 700 'Wiajga' Who were humans who were either mindless, or those who joined out of fear of being killed by them. The 'Kingdom of Uniqa Elu' became aware of this clan, and they themselves began to attack them. Raiding camps, and freeing those who were unfortunate enough to be captured by them. This war lasted over 1000 years, lasting until the modern era of bolt action rifles.




Around 1000 AD, in Modern Day Mexico and Cuba.. A fungi was slowly spreading. The Xenian Malignancy Zone was beginning its spread in Mexico due to a onset of a portal storm return in the area for a few months, it bringing a large sum of Xenian Foliage to our planet, thus beginning its spread on mass. Many life forms native to earth either became infected, or perished from it.. Due to this being medieval times, nothing could actually halt its expansion, and only in a matter of a few years it had reached south America and Modern day Missouri.. Within the zone, was essentially a paradise for any Xenian Beings that had came here. Thousands of Vortigaunts migrated to this zone, to return to safer lands. Estimate say it will have colonized all of North and South America in a matter of 20 years, and thus begin its spread west to Asia by 1800

AFRICA

Africa was hit like a pin being hit by a bowling ball. All species that had came to earth were summoned here in some way, or simply migrated like the Gonarchs. Down by the Sahara the Antlions claim the land, having near hundreds of large colonies, and near millions of smaller ones claiming it.
Down near the west of Africa, large packs of houndeyes travel these lands, dominating these lands. Gonarchs in Central, and Eastern Africa roamed these lands, making majority of it full of Parasitic Headcrabs, causing many tribes to just be full of Zombies.. This also affected any wild life, if a Headcrab could get onto an Animal, it made it zombified, thats if it could latch onto its head. Boids and Chumtoads seem to have made Madagascar its home, making it near impossible to not see them in the region. In South Africa, the Vortigore seem to run wild, hunting big animals to feed themselves and their young.


Around 800 AD witnessed Shock Troopers seemingly trying to colonize Africa. Rounding up any and all Africans by force putting them either in slavery or captive to serve the Shock Troopers.. Same happened with the Grunts, Vortigaunts as well, the Alien Grunts did not accept this kind of treatment and obviously revolted. For years the Africans and Vorts Submitted for a while.. Till 980 AD, the 'SHOCK TROOPER CHAOS' begun, and a massive revolt of many Africans and Vorts and Grunts alike began to attack the Race-X Species. This was one of the first times Alien Grunts and Humans fought along side each other against a species that was not themselves. A Vortigaunt named 'Kiwit'linb Ione' formed the 'Kingdom of All' which was as the name suggested, a Kingdom that aimed to unite all. Which worked near the coastal lines of Somalia and Ethiopia, but overall many other Africans wanted their own power, same with large sum of Grunts.




Remember those Mid Eastern guys that hunted those Gonarchs for its plating? They arent the only ones. A large group of Africans and Vortigaunts in Central Africa also wanted to join in on the fun, and hunt these beasts. Not many were successful, but a certain Adah Adana and 14 other warriors were able to lure a Gonarch into a trap, causing it to fall into a pit of spikes that punctured its Sack, killing it instantly. This was the first time a Gonarch was slain without the help of a Vortigaunt. Adah Adana took off the Gonarchs scales and used the skin of its sack as a garb for Adahs clothing, crowning herself as the 'Giant Slayer'.

ASIA

The Han Empire had seen its collapse near instantly after the Portal Storms. Its land, and people were reduced.. For decades it was a wasteland till the Alien Grunts decided that THEY would rule these lands, and no one else. Forming the 'Clan of Kuanqia'. It was ruled mainly by the Grunts, however one Human was in some position of 'power'. Quan Eita'. Their role was to control and keep order in the modern day Manchuria region... This did not last long As for in 249 AD, a man named Wua Ling rallied a revolt against their new leaders, Quan Eita was not so stubborn, and was still loyal to the Alien Grunts, and thus formed his own Army to assist the Kuanqia Clan in the revolt.. 120 Thousand Loyalists vs near millions of Rebels against the Clan of Kuanqia.. Thus began the 200 year war. In the region of Korea where Seoul would be a small City State owned by the Race-X Species was at war with a small Korean nation that was ruled by a influential Vortigaunt.


Japan. Or 'The Land of the Rising Sun'. The Japanese lands funnily enough were not as effected as one might think, the people and new found creatures of what would be considered a, 'reasonable amount' A known and large Gargantua in the mountains is confirmed, and is the only one. No known Alien Grunts are heard to be in Japan, nor many Race-X Species. Due to the Portal Storms happening in 218 AD, this was just during the rise of Japan conquering the central lands. The Vortigaunts and Japanese people got along well, and learned to Co-Exist. Near the Kingdom of Yamato, a known antlion nest was spotted, however the Vortigaunts told the Japanese not to invade it, and to let the Vortigunts take the bountiful Extract within it. As the years went by, the Japanese and Vortigaunts rarely fought.. The only time they fought was in 876 AD, due to a misunderstanding of a Japanese man accusing a Vortigaunt of stealing their crops causing the '20 Minute War', which was recorded to be the shortest 'war' in history.




Australia got some what lucky, and unlucky at the same time. They became the only continent to not have a Xenian Infestation, due to majority of the Portal Storms being in the middle of it, but they also have the most 'Savages' or 'Non-Vortikind', which caused them to attack not only the Vortigaunts, but also the Aboriginal Population in the region. In Tasmania, it was peaceful. In fact, it had the lowest population of Vortigaunts, only confirmed to have had 100 in the known region. The Aboriginals in the region even began to tame the wild bullsquid, and houndeye. The Australian continent would remain like this for centuries to come.
