Reason for Report: He had spawned some high tier loot within the sewers which I began to retrieve and while I was able to deal with most of the npcs I was met with explosive houndeyes which due to the way the map was designed, were able to clip through the xenian growth and essentially come out of nowhere, while this I could deal with due to the limitations of the map. The last obstacle was a trio of explosive hound-eyes at the only exit.
Logically, I hit one of them since they were stood in such a way the obvious solution was to hit one of them and then the explosion would cause the other two to explode and thus clear the path. What I didn't realize at the time was that Turn based combat isolates the instance of combat. So the Houndeye I killed died but the other two joined the fight and due to how NPCs interact with turn based combat, I did not have the initiative to move away after the first attack. So they both ran up and killed me.
The reason for my report is for Mulky's rotten attitude towards the situation here are the logs (Clown is uninvolved and was just trying to help):
I've highlighted the offending lines in yellow and you can see just how mean-spirited Mulky is. As far as these logs are concerned he's content to kill off people's characters without even a hint of sympathy to the situation (that being I died to a mechanical flaw in TBC). It could have been anyone who fell victim to this blatant OOC trap insidiously disguised as a loot run. I could have let this go as just a genuine OOC mistake caused by mechanics and as I pointed out in the logs, no matter what character would have come across the situation there was no mechanical way to succeed at the engagement.
Really soured my experience either way. No idea what his problem was. Make of this what you will but this is the wrong attitude to have as a staff member.

[LOOC] Highly Robust Clown: which type of houndeyes?
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: spawn 3 red houndeyes close together over there
[PM] »Highly Robust Clown (Highly Robust Clown): explode houndeyes
[PM] »Highly Robust Clown (Highly Robust Clown): npc_vj_explodehoundeyes
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: close than that
Giving Ross Humberton a ix_vortbeam
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: yeah that'll do
Failed to load sound "vj_bms_houndeye\charge2.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository
Giving Ross Humberton a tfa_n7_cmbp14
Highly Robust Clown says (to you) "What?"
[An ordinary-suit wearing feller that ...] says "Hold on."
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: cant blow all 3 of them up for some reason
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: despite it making no sense
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: yeah that happened then the other 2 charged me
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: I couldn't react
[An ordinary-suit wearing feller that ...] says "Hmm."
An admin has ended the Turn-Based Combat.
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: when surely they'd all blow up from one of them blowing up
Player Tox1c has joined the game
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: you saying you died
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: because of it?
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: yes
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: like all 3 of them would explode
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: why would they not?
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: where did you die? down the pit?
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: yeah
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: didnt help the xen growth is clip through
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: so they could run through the walls to me
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: hm
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: because a death is a death
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: i can't necessarily decide on this, but for the sake of keeping it fair i'll *allow it this time*
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: just down spawn exploders in that place
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: and it'll be fine
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: no
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: it was a high-tier loot down there
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: yes I know
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: i'll spawn as much as i want to
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: but it could be anyone
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: like you physically could not get out of that situation
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: that's the challenge of it
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: since TBC means they get to move
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: i wouldn't place a shotgun there were it not hard to get
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: having no mechanical way to win is fair?
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: high-risk high-reward
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: you're not understanding what I'm saying
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: it's not like with players
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: where I shoot and then get initiative
Player Niick has joined the game
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: so I could move after 1 shot
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: it jumps straight to their turn
[LOOC] Ross Humberton: yes, npcs aren't turn-based sadly, but that's not my issue to fix
[LOOC] Ha-Kuu Al'Halla-Seng: well whatever, I won't be doing that again untill it's fixed
