Why were these aspects highlighted for my PK Appeal denial; when... they all act in favour for my characters survival?

I was not given a chance to roleplay; I was shot while typing, with a copy-pasted /me execution.

Allow me to repost my video.

I do not think this PK is correct, nor the verdict justified. Hence, I am making a complaint thread.

Is this acceptable roleplay?

Remember, a PK auth makes the rules void.

I personally think this is a poor joke, and that I'll wake up tomorrow morning and see @merlinsclaw and @cappelini sipping beers and smoking ron goodfella cigars and talking about how thomas newcastle's new legislation affects the socio-political climate and politieconomic relations between city 32 and city 24

Not just mid typing but y'know, that was very clearly a copy+pasted execution. No way in hell anyone can type that fast after shooting someone down lmao. Also isn't there s'posed to be a /me if it's not just...straight up an s2k fight? Or am I remembering wrong?

Third thing- sounds like the guy did his execution his copy+pasted /me and just bolted.

That's zero chance to respond from anyone and kinda terrible roleplay that was...just allowed to be apparently.

Kinda ridiculous all around.

I'll give my 2 cents to this

I think the verdict of the PK was acted on too quickly to look into anything.

shot mid typing with zero roleplay, executed with a very clearly pre-written bind, pk appeal denied in less than an hour when the usual takes at least a day to decide

cant say im surprised, willard staff is 100% ok with minges killing good rpers

Reece highlights an area that contradicts what they are saying, hell Omni himself said that he rushed it since he was shot at.. not very isolated from aid

From my perspective; omnipotent would've had no *time* to execute my character, given someone was trying to *stop* him, of which, he ignored; which only angers me further to see the staff-team coddle those that would see the server turn into Synapse.

What I find even more disrespectful is that he was *ACTIVELY BEING SHOT AT* to his OWN ADMISSION and he was still executing my character.

This is blatant disregard for the guidelines; purely because Rad-X doesn't give a shit anymore.

Even Nath, the person who PK'd me, said RAD-X told them to do it.

Rad-X said that they're called 'guidelines' for a reason; does this mean we should circumvent them to negatively impact roleplay quality?

Yes, I am malding, yes, I am seething, and yes, I am coping. I have every right to be after the complete ignorance displayed before me over what was meant to be an enjoyable afternoon with roleplay; only to be cut-short by omnipotent wanting a short-term dopamine boost over what could've been over an hour of interactive roleplay and GM'd.

Instead of the overseeing staff members promoting roleplay, they actively encouraged shoot to kill behaviour, and unfairly tilted it towards the aggressing member, Omnipotent.

Also, isn't the gatehouse meant to be *locked by codes* now? (There presumed access route.)

If @Purple Knight could comment on this.

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said by everyone else, but there is one thing I want to highlight. V2 is having its life support pulled and V3 is (unless thats changed) being pushed out the door in record time as a sort of 'quick fix' to try and get things back on track.

But people remember the "quick and easy" decisions, the ones that seem incredibly biased and hypocritical, and the number changing from a 2 to a 3 won't fix that in the minds of those who feel wronged. Will @Marco magically forget their character was PK'd in what seems like a big breach of the rules only for staff to seemingly brush it under the rug for ease just because V3 is happening? No, of course not.

Shortcuts done now because V2 feels like it has one foot in the grave and nobody cares will linger into V3 and that is the last team the staff team wants, because it will poison V3 in record time. V3 is an IC reset, not an OOC one.

V2 ending shouldn't mean that rules can be ignored now. By that logic I could walk up to Pathfinder and blast her in the head while you're typing, then get shot at while executing you, or I could find the Reclaimer and suicide bomb him with a bomb.

Avoiding following rules even when an era of a server is ending leave a bad taste in people's months, and makes it more likely that those that actually like playing on the server, and see what's happening with the rules, will not want to come back for V3.

There were multiple long-term Resistance medics in the room when Irida was shot, she was being helped by a third when she was /slayed, and the Resistance's best surgeon, as well as multiple vortigaunts, were mere seconds away.

They made the choice to try and kill Irida in the most common area of the Bunker, and just because they succeeded via terrible rule interpretations shouldn't mean they get to try again.

They failed. A /me from a distance detailing how they were reloading, shooting 'the body' with no descriptor or gender mentioned, and running, as they're being shot at does not change that fact.

Staff approving shoddy PKs because "Oh they asked if they could do it"?

Seems legitimate, not to mention. I find this very funny that after some minor OOC confusion over one of my characters I was DM'd over a PK request that I would've been permitted to file which boiled down to a similar grounds but instead of it being "Oh it was a cop, I distrust them", it was "Oh its because they're a rebel, I distrust them."

The fact we're allowing PKs over minor disagreements and that this was slammed down when literally several people not to mention the BAR was 2 seconds away and had GIANT GLASS WINDOWS when I know full well if an OTA Soldier copied and pasted their /me to execute someone mid typing, they'd be put through the wringer.

But hey, "you vill eat ze S2K slop und you vill be happy" wins again instead of roleplay.

I find honestly this PK appeal being denied utterly laughable, considering half of the appeals for similar circumstances were appealed when a CivPro or OTA did it.

complaint thread taking longer to get looked at than the PK appeal

can all breach's in rules be named, it seems theres not, and rather just personal attacks on me because "I Like to S2K and not RP"

They were isolated from medical care per S2K Guidelines and PK guidelines, I gave proper description, they were the only person on the ground that was injured and hence I shot them in the head, theres nothing to explain, no need for gender or anything of the sorts, I perfectly described who I had shot
