Redundant Measures Act

To ensure stability at all times

In light of recent events, such as the removal of Nakemura and other incidents resulting in the premature conclusion of a chairperson's term, it has become evident that the chairperson position is vulnerable to sudden disruptions. To safeguard the continuity and stability of our Legislative Assembly, I propose the following measures to be adhered to at all times. These measures are essential to ensuring that our Assembly can continue to function and thrive, even in unpredictable times.

N°01
Mandatory vice-chairperson appointment

Upon election, all chairpersons shall be required to appoint a vice-chairperson. This appointment must be made promptly to ensure a clear line of succession and support.

N°02
Ascension upon chairperson's absence

Should the chairperson be unable to attend a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, or otherwise be absent either due to outer-city commitments, injury, or otherwise, the vice-chairperson shall assume all duties and powers of the chairperson for the duration of the absence, ensuring continuity of leadership.

N°03
Formal recognition of the vice-chairperson role

The vice-chairperson shall be formally recognized as an position under the chairperson, with authority above the secretary-general, yet subordinate to the chairperson. This structure aims to reduce the administrative load on the chairperson, allowing them to focus on the more significant demands of their role, especially during times of heightened pressure.
