Legislation Proposal N°06 -
Collaborative Contribution

"For it is only our own blood, sweat, and tears, that will fuel our advancement into ascension."

Introduced by: Tier-5 Collaborator Jonathan Douglas, Tier-4 Collaborator Watima Nakata
Sponsored by: Civil-Workers-Party (CWP)

Summary:
Establish the expectation of contribution to the City by attending Workshifts, for any Collaborators Tier-4 or Tier-5. Also establish a monetary method of contribution that will be deposited into the City Fund if any collaborator does not participate in said workshifts.

Article 1;
1-1: To lead by example, Collaborators must participate in ONE (1) workshift per week

1-2: Failure to participate will result in a forced contribution equalling one-hundred (100) credits

1-3: Civil Workers directors, currently either Varos Atkins and Jonathan Douglas, will forward a list of Collaborators who have not participated in any workshifts to the General Secretary, and MOC Ministers

1-4: This forced contribution can then be collected either by the General Secretary, MOC Ministers, or Civil Protection*

1-5: Upon collection of the forced contribution, a note must be added to the relevant collaborator's datafile stating that they have already paid.

1-6: Any monetary contribution must then be deposited into the overall City Fund. It may not be used for personal purchases, or deposited into any Union budget.

Article 2;
1-1: Because of their heavy, round-the-clock workload, the Civil Medical Union is exempt from expected participation.

1-2: Civil Workers are also exempt from expected participation, however Collaborators within the Union will have additional expectations placed on them by Civil Worker Union directors.

1-3: Ministers and Tier-6 Collaborators will also be exempt from expected participation, because of their status.

1-4: Secretariat officials - including the General Secretary, and First and Second Secretary, will also be exempt from expected participation.

Addendum:
* It is ultimately up to Civil Protection command if they choose to collect the fines. If they do, then 50% of the contribution collected by Civil Protection will be kept for their own budget.

Obviously, anyone who can't get on the server due to OOC responsibilities won't be expected to pay. Please just DM me (Haydeon on discord) and your name won't be added to the list of no-shows.
