Greetings,
@Imperator RAD-X has given me permission to oversee this ban appeal so I will be reviewing it starting from the top and using all resources available to me as an uninvolved staff member in this whole situation thus far and everything surrounding it. I would like to start by posting this clip here:
Where throughout the video I see questionable moves made by you personally while under a FearRP scenario. Through I see you make many moves which are borderline breaking the concept and idea of FearRP and while they aren't serious I do feel as though they do contribute to the end ban you received. I am not going to list out every instance as that will take forever.
However, I want to focus on the main highlights of what got you banned in this video and touch on why you were banned in a bit more context as well as detail to ensure that you fully understand the reasoning behind your ban and how to avoid making the same mistakes again in the future.
First of all, let's start at around: 29:20 in the video where you randomly say "Erm, We got Company" before immediately without a /me turn around and head towards the door, with multiple members telling you to stop to which you ignored them and continued in your path. This to me was the first major red flag and breakage of FearRP and/or FailRP in this scenario. Given your situation, your character should've stayed put and made your /me to wait to see if the others allow you to make this move or not- which you succeeded a few times prior to allow but in this particular moment, you didn't? It Sorta gave the feeling you had a clue what the rules were in this situation but felt the sudden urge to ignore them here.
Regardless of the above point, you had a major break from FearRP regardless of characters personality or traits- a clear violation in a situation where you needed to not only do a /me, but even when you were able to move, you would've needed to stop the moment the words "Don't" and then shortly after "STOP" appeared in chat which was mid-walk to where you went next, instead you got as close as you could to the door. Any reasonable person would choose to take a few steps back to where they were told to stop as per FearRP logic. This falls under our Quality Roleplay Rule.
Then 29:33 you reached your walking destination before quickly proceeding and positioning yourself towards the doorway. Once again without RP moved shortly thereafter and even unlocking the door, opened it and ran out. That is like 4-6 different counts of FearRP breakage all in a row, not to mention utter FailRP on top of it all. Would also count as a cherry on top of Powergame due to the way it was carried out. You ignored every single little threat and danger to your character and thought it prudent to approach the door despite being told 10+ times to cease moving, may be an exaggeration, but you get the idea.
When guns are pointed at you like this and in this manner with them wanting you to stay put, you really shouldn't be approaching the literal exit where your character realistically would get lit the fuck up the moment you dared get too close but of course, no one had time to react by the time you took off out of the doorway with... no /me once more.
I don't want to be mean, but I do wish to point out that in all my time in RP, it has been a universal rule through all RP servers "If this will realistically get you killed, then it will get you killed and you should fear it." and this is one of those situations that apply. As IRL if I was held at gunpoint and did what your character did as if by magic of not feeling fear for some reason, by the time my hand unlocks the door or even reaches the handle, someone would've more than likely capped my ass in a split second. Though that would never happen as in said scenario, no one would have the audacity to make such an utterly retarded move as it is a 100% death scenario and would make anyone shit their pants to even think about it.
Of course, since it's not directly written in the rules for the above, I am willing to give a pass on it before I invite the army that is "Rule Lawyers" of our community to swarm the floodgates.
Anyway, from the video once more, I did a slow motion capture of it and saw the /me of you getting shot which you tried bringing up as part of the S2K rule was posted a few milliseconds after the door had been opened. To me, I believe that guy was preparing a /me knowing you were more than likely about to try and escape which would be the sanest action for anyone in that room to do, which they executed. So no, that defence doesn't work for the "No reactionary /me required after s2k starts" as it started after the fact the door had been opened.
Even if it was, everything prior was still one thing after another adding more violations on top of each other.
Edit: May I add the above statement I made is also another case of FailRP and outright Powergame given you forced a scenario where someone had to bind react, prepare a shoddily written kill /me and/or immediately had to open fire. By going near the door without a /me, everyone in that room had no choice but to prepare for a sudden fight given they could not react to your own moves as they were forced into a scenario to respond in kind- you shouldn't be doing this.
If faction members did this, I can guarantee they would not only get warned and banned, but more than likely blacklisted from their factions and be locked out of a lot of gameplay for good. That is how serious what went down here was....
With that said, your ban is here to stay and is 100% valid given the situation. I am sorry, but I can't see any scenario where what you did is acceptable by any means in any RP server. What you did was 110% against our rulesets.
I am sorry, but we are going to have to deny this on the basis the following offences occurred: Powergame, FailRP, and Breaking of FearRP (Will be clarified more in a future update).
