Recently, I've been reached out to by @MazuzaM back tracking the logs and claiming that an item that I acquired from a CP mugging which was fully supervised and spectated by a third party who gave me a green-light on the situation. I kept the item which was a CP suit for a month now and there hasn't been any issue with that up until today apparently. I think it is unfair that the player is punished if it's an error made by a third party which was responsible for supervising the scenario. I think it is fair for me to keep the suit as it was obtained through legitimate means followed by supervision.

The staff team are currently evaluating our stance on overall ownership of Civil Protection suits, at the request of rebel representatives and CP leads.

You are not being targeted, nor are you being punished for this. Everyone in ownership of a suit is currently having the circumstances regarding the suit evaluated.

Good evening @Smauffle thank you for making this complaint.

As Astro said the Staff Team is currently evaluating all player's possession of Functionary Suits, them being light or Riot. During the review of logs your name popped up multiple times and since you do not have an approved character authorization (nor had it at the time) we dug in a little further.

After an extensive investigation which I provided in your DMs the logs of Functionary Suits in your possession are either from a refund which was then deemed illicit after confronting a staff member or a charsearch during bleedout which you were warned for.

As Astro said you are not being targeted, in fact I have decided to show you leniency and did not issue a formal ban as other players would have recieved especially given your history.

Before finishing up I inform you once again that you are **not allowed** to mug an Officer for his uniform or helmet, you require them to be fully dead before retrieving out of combat a broken uniform.

Staff members have all the authority and right to take disciplinary actions should a rule violation, especially of this kind, pop up during an investigation, no matter how long ago it was commited.

Kindest regards,

MazuzaM

Fully understand where you are coming from, it is not my intention to come off as rude or with ill intent, but I would like to voice that possession of these items being strictly reserved for specific group of individuals, just seems biased and unfair for the rest of the community. Would also like to note that a lot of hard work and planning was carried out to obtain that item which cost a lot of my own personal time and resources. And extra care and consideration was put in place to avoid any potential rule breaking or fail-rp outcomes.

Hello once again,

You are not the only player whose possessions will be confiscated if gained unfairly, what you planned to do has zero importance as you broke the rules to obtain it and attempted to blame a third party member who probably did not know any better.

The Administrative decision is final, no matter what the Gamemaster had in plan during your mugging which you were warned for that exact day

All of your possessions were switfly confiscated yet you lied to another Administrative member some hours later and persuaded him into giving you a Functionary Uniform, which also had the wrong bodygroups after you lied to them, the illegitimate mugging was codoned against an Intention 5 who did not bear red pauldrons nor armbands at that time.

Overall even if it was supervised your possessions were confiscated by a staff member and you afterwards lied to another to gain them back, the suit removal is legitimate.

It was obtained legitimately with the supervision of a third party which spectated and approved of the validity of the scenario. The item was given and granted permission to be in my possession by one of the staff.

There was no lies involved as from what I gathered the member of staff was fully aware of the case and compensated me for my time and resources used in achieving this stunt.
If the ownership of the suit is an issue, I would like to request full compensation as personal time and resources were invested in obtaining the item.

The Administrative member who is currently indisposed (@MelonHeadzzz) was confronted and showed the logs in which he refunded the suit, specifying to a misunderstanding making the refund illegitimate.

The suit was removed from your possession and you will not be compensated for anything regarding the resources you spent as you recieved a warn, bad behavior is not rewarded.

After having your suit removed by Cengiz a couple hours later you persuaded Melonheadzz into giving you a new one, which also would fall under

----- An administrator's decision is final. Do not ignore their decision and do not seek another admin for a different outcome. This is considered admin-hopping.

I hope you will make the best out of this report and act appropriately in the future.

This will be my last reply unless you have anything concrete besides hearsay

Kind regards,

Fine, no worries, not like I can do anything anyway.

Hey, I think that if you think this a problem, smauffle, then put it on a staff report and not a post to start drama. Only putting this on a complaint really weakens any of your claims as it seems you don't think that they are serious enough for a staff report.

Could be interpreted that way, it wasn't an abuse report, more of a complaint, it would make sense to make it private sure, but there generally isn't a complaints section that isn't a public one and technically it isn't am abuse report. I reckon it'd be better to have a private complaints section for when it's not quite abuse, but instead just an open complaint ^_^
