My complaint is that neonity warned me for a false reason.

Warn: AlexGuinea has been warned by Neonity. Reason: Poor quality roleplay and ignoring RP actions by simply walking away, powergaming.

Reasoning:
Said that I did not respond to a /me that was not directed at me nor did it affect all in the area. Also used the reasoning that I was reporting people for basic things. Also after I posted this report they moved it to a diffrent forum even when I clarified that it was a staff abuse report.

I do believe I have already told you extensively over in-game PMs that I had removed the warning in question nearly immediately because I was unable to reach out to the reporting player for clarification on whether this was the same rule break for which you were already warned for yesterday, as the reporting player had disconnected by the time I wanted to ask them if it was. I do not wish to warn someone for the same offense twice in a row, which is why I removed it.

I once again asked you if there was anything else you'd like clarified, but you didn't reply. Considering the warning physically does not exist, is there anything else you'd like to get off your chest?

If you wish to appeal yesterday's original warning, do reach out to @Cengiz for further clarification on that and feel free to write a warning appeal.

You were warned, and then had the warning removed upon closer evaluation.... How exactly is this abuse of power, it was literally at very best, a mistake, one that was rectified, quickly - and therefore holds no effect on you whatsoever.
Unless I'm missing something here it just seems like you're complaining for the sake of complaining.

No clue why these reports over tiny things are coming outta nowhere. Don't people know they can just open a dialogue and talk things out without trying to go straight for the neck?

Either way- kinda difficult to do anything with this given there's not much information given, and a notable omission of information too. Neonity says they've discussed it with you already and I think most people would accept that the removal of the warning is fair. There's no mention of what the /me actually consisted of other than 'wasn't directed at me or did it affect all in the area'

Furthermore I'd hardly see a /warning as something actually worthy of writing up a abuse report. They're negligible, more often than not they're barely given any attention unless it's repeated.

Hello.

I am not sure whether I should speak in here, but I am the person who made a report against Alex in both of the instances - which consisted of TWO similar situations over the course of two days - not a double report about the same thing over the span of two days. I wanted to apologise for being unavailable for clarification in the second instance, as well as to defend Neonity from getting accused of abusing their power, which they didn't - all they did was to respond to my report, which I'll try to justify now.

The first situation happened, at the moment of this post, two days ago, near the entrance to the Grotto alleyway, by the "Gizmos". On a wall next to that place, there used to be a grafitti of "Sic semper tyrannis" with a lambda. Near a fire, there were six people conversing. The character played by Alex then approached the grafitti and started to clean it off. The group, seeing that went to approach him, asking what is he doing. One of them placed a hand on his shoulder, wanting to make him stop. His character then turned around, asking for a name of that guy. He received a fake name, to which he answered with a /me flees, running off out of the CZ. The group scattered, scared of a possible CP investigation - I'm this case I am not sure if he reported it.

After around 15 minutes he returned to the grafitti to finish the job, this time spotted by around four people who were by the fire. Yet again, he was confronted, to which, without even a /me flees, he answered by trying to run. As one person stood on the car, he was rendered unable to, so he turned to the other side and rushed to the terminal, most likely to report a crime (which happened, judging by the sweep/investigation conducted by CP's afterwards.) Again, no /me or anything. This time, as a character played by me got punched by Alex's character, the group retaliated and downed him. By then, I also filed a report, I think RAD-X being the one who answered. According to my knowledge, Alex received a PK due to breaking NLR after bleedout timer, and a warning from the admin.

For this instance, I can provide screenshots since I saved them.

Second instance happened yesterday (09.08), same place (fireplace by the grotto alleyway)

A small group of two vorts and 2/3 citizens stood by a fire, talking. Then, one of the men was approached from behind by a stranger, with an attack emote and a roll. The victim rolled and the encounter continued, the witnesses getting ready to intervene.
Then, a character played by Alex approached while people were busy emoting. He ran straight to the terminal on the Gizmos wall, reporting a crime. By this point my character runned away so I cannot provide accurate information other than that the CP's did respond and sweep the CZ soon after, searching people.

I wrote a report about the situation, which Neonity claimed. I seem to have provided too less information, for which I am sorry. During the second situation Alex's character wasn't being actively prevented by anyone, since he wasn't a part of the fight. However, having another RP encounter broken by a really similar character, in the same way and without even a single emote done day after the first thing can be a little... Irritating.

Sorry for the chaos within the post and I hope it does actually clarify some stuff.

Tbh in regards to what Goat has said, and the actions you did, it very easily falls under what you were warned for as well Poor quality roleplay.
Reporting a crime while stood directly adjacent to it, via running to a terminal and filing a crime report is irritating to all parties involved, CP and slummers alike, you're actively interrupting their roleplaying, just on the off chance you'd be rewarded by CP. One that as a CP player myself, I can almost guarantee that you wouldn't be rewarded for, due to the minor crime itself, and the fact it's in the slums.

Over all I'd boil that down to bad faith, or lack of quality RP. You should really avoid doing things like that in future, as stated above, it's irritating for all parties, CP's don't give a shit about minor fights in the slums, you're likely to end up getting your character killed doing this, especially using the terminal directly next to the fight, as if you had have actually done a /me about using the terminal, people would have had the chance to stop you. However to my knowledge you did no such thing.

This is currently a pandemic among the Willard server, people reporting the most minor of things, and being generalised bootlickers. It needs to be stomped out, the sheer amount of people acting as if they're not under a dystopic oppression is staggering. And its affecting the qualities of passive RP that a serious RP server should be providing, people are getting to the point where they're afraid OOCly to actually do anything remotely illegal, under risk of someone instantly reporting them, and therefore causing sweeps of the CZ, and by extension, the possible loss of characters.

It's understandable that you don't quite recognise this as a new player, so don't consider it a scolding, but rather a teaching moment, no one likes a snitch - and while freedom of roleplay does exist, and therefore there's technically nothing wrong with you doing so, stifling other's roleplay is frowned upon. So please at least leave the scene before reporting crimes.

I would like to add that neonity moved my previous report to the improper forum about a minute after I posted it. And did not contact me before the warning.

Your previous “report” which was this exact same post was moved to the warn appeals section because at no point in the post do you mention an abuse of power, rather a complaint about a warning you believed to have received unfairly. A warning that had already been removed (with your full knowledge) long before you posted the thread.

I will ask you once more. At what point did an abuse of power take place? If you can answer this question, I will happily go into a discussion with you. If you can not answer this, I refuse to take this thread seriously at all and will disregard it as a waste of time, which is what it currently is now.

So... what is the essence of this report or complaint exactly? I am reading and not sure I follow, this doesn't sound like reportable material thus far and seems to be pretty minor and bog standard.

Nobody's taking this seriously, and I'm reading through all this and I also cannot. This isn't to make or point fun, this is genuinely how I feel about the factual provisions to this. It's just moving off-topic super quickly. To avoid this becoming a meme, I'm going to archive it.

Understandably this is not the answer you would be expecting in regards to dealing with the moving of your thread which was moved back practically almost immediately; I seriously don't see how anything is being marked for abuse toward your general direction.

Same person that you're reporting removed your warning and is being more than cordial. I must dismiss this report.

Everyone please have a nice day.
