Hello! The name's Deadnoise. I'm a freelance graphic designer from France.
I've been playing gmod since 2013, spending my time ether making artworks or playing games.
Im farely familiar with the HL2RP scene, having been a member of a French rp server since 2013, up until its closing in 2019. Most of my time there was spent playing as a high ranking CP unit. Since then, i've been travelling between different servers, either semi-serious or full serious. But i've never managed to fit in sadly. That was until i heard of Willard Networks.
At first, it just looked like any other serious HL2RP server with a coat of polish. But i dug deeper, wanting to re-live the fun ive had playing HL2RP. So i did some research. I looked at some youtube videos, mostly from random posts, or even the owner himself to get me an idea. Already, i could tell that this server was interesting. Then i've stumbled upon "That_One_Guy" videos. Since my previous rp experiences included a lot of time as a CP, i was hooked. But i wanted to check out the citizen side of things, since this tends to be the weak point of any HL2rp servers. So ive decided to connect to the server to see for myself. After a few bumps here and there, and with the help of an admin, i was set.
The first day was quiet, just me exploring the map. The second, things became interesting as i was immediatly involved in some RP, and the third, at the end of the event, i just said "Ok, ive seen enough, i'm joining."
To me, Roleplay is a great way for me to invent stories and characters, since it's one of my favorite pass times. My goal now is to get my feet wet, seeing how things work here. And "maybe" try to join the ranks of the Civil Protection, but not after a long time of RP to become familiar with the place.
So yeah.. That's my introduction. See you all on the main server !
