FIRE HAZARD SUPPRESSION ACT.
Recent fires have posed a danger to the city, to the point which volunteer citizens utilizing fire extinguishers is not enough. This bill aims to organize a properly equipped volunteer fire fighters department for the safety of the city and it's inhabitants.
§1. Organization
A volunteer fire fighters department shall be formed and overseen originally by a CWU representative. Chosen by CWU leadership.
Volunteers may be chosen from all Loyalist Tier 1+ citizens or CWU personnel.
Volunteers of Tier 4+ And volunteers from the CWU shall be the only ones granted code access to the equipment storage, and shall be responsible for getting all firefighters equipped before responding to an emergency.
The CWU firefighter representative shall be responsible for acquiring and storing firefighting/rescue equipment, as well as training new volunteers on procedures and proper use of equipment. They shall take responsibilities of leading firefighting teams and choosing successive leaders from volunteers.
An alarm shall be installed in the district which can place all volunteer firefighters on alert to report to the equipment storage facility in order to respond to any fires. This alarm shall be accessible to CWU management or Civil Protection. (// a fire alarm /event)
All volunteers must be prepared to respond to an emergency at any given time.
§2. Equipment & Compensation
The volunteer fire department shall receive safety equipment, fire retardant suits and respiratory equipment for their own protection.
The department shall receive firefighting equipment to combat all classes of fire. Ordinary, Liquid/Gas, Electrical, Metallic & Grease.
The department shall store all equipment in a properly code locked, secure storage area which possesses surveillance tools to prevent unauthorized removal of equipment.
The conditions of the storage shall be satisfactory to keep the supplies in good repair. Firefighter representatives shall be responsible for the maintenance or replacement of expired, disposable, regular & lost equipment.
Volunteers who successfully respond to a minor fire shall receive 1 Social Credit each. Volunteers who successfully respond to a major fire shall receive 4 Social Credit each.
