1. The year formerly known as 2003 Anno Domini shall henceforth become the Year 1 of a New and Modernized calendar.
2. Years after this turning point in Human history shall be referred to as After Ascension, or AA for short.
3. Years before this turning point shall be referred to as Before Ascension, or BA for short.
4. All calendars and communications from this point on shall be obligated to incorporate the new dating system under threat of fine.

For too long our civilization has continued operating off of a yearly dating system
held over from the most dubious of cultural mores. This legislation hopes to do
away with that remnant of the old world, embracing the Ascension as the new
and true paradigm shift within human history and culture.
