The peculiar self-inflicted debt crisis persists, its quirks unfurling with unsettling regularity, while within the corridors of power, opportunistic figures eagerly exploit its intricacies for personal gain. A freshly minted policy, meticulously crafted by the M.O.C, now awaits consideration by the assembly. Presented as a patriotic solution to remedy the crisis, one cannot help but question its true intentions. Will it indeed serve the greater good, or merely further the agendas of those in pursuit of power?
We've witnessed its reach, felt its grasp, and are keenly aware of its PERVASIVE presence in every facet of our society. The spectre of the debt crisis looms ominously overhead, its GNARLED TENDRILS ensnaring the livelihoods of our people.. Commerce predicts a TRIPLING of essential goods and local merchandise prices in the weeks ahead, while the relentless burden of exorbitant interest rates threaten to PLUNGE us further into ruin.
Despite valiant efforts, Commerce alone finds itself incapable of mustering the SWIFT and DECEIVIE action demanded by our city's dire circumstances. To safeguard our collective future and dismantle the roots of this crisis, we are compelled to seek aid from our Security Council..
Yet, the procedural rigidity of this council poses a grave challenge during these UNPREDICTABLE and tumultuous times. Legislative measures may languish for weeks, even MONTHS, a luxury our economy cannot afford. Therefore, the Security Council, for the welfare of our city and its inhabitants, should temporarily relinquish a portion of its legislative fiscal protocol, granting emergency powers to the Monopoly of Commerce. With this mandate, Commerce can SWIFTLY draft, enact, and adjust fiscal policies without the hindrance of protracted legislative processes.
Grant us this temporary reprieve, and relieve our city from the grips of SUFFERING! The fate of our citizenry and our INDEPENDENCE now rest in your hands.. Further on, to assist Commerce in this grave task, we wish all local CLC forces report all and any fiscal findings back to Commerce. Obscure, hidden and secrecy is of no place in this crisis! The CLC too must do their part!
