Preamble​

Our path towards Ascension is not an easy one by any means. It is a path through a dense jungle, paved with blood and sweat of loyalists. It is something that demands protection, and those who answer the call sometimes never come back. We must honour their memory, we must never forget those who fell for the cause. This together with the Nº20 Lost Loyalists Act, aims to make sure they are never forgotten.

Art. 1 Remember the troops

1. Upon the passing of this law, a large statue dedicated to the brave soldiers of the CSF shall be erected in the city plaza.

2. The Workers Union shall undertake any and all necessary steps to see this project accomplished, free of charge. This is our way of thanking the fallen heroes for their sacrifice.

3. The ISD Bureau of Arts shall oversee the construction of this monument, Censor General having creative control over all of its aspects.

4. The construction of this statue shall be a secondary priority to the reconstruction of the district.

Art. 2 Day of Remembrance

1. Upon the passing of this law, 25th of August shall become a state holiday known as “Day of Remembrance”.

2. This holiday shall be dedicated to remembering the fallen heroes of the Union. Those who fell defending our way of life, be that Officer of the Civil Protection or a Simple Private of the Conscripted Force.

3. All hard labour shall be halted for the day. Hard labour mostly includes especially hard workshifts.

4. On this day, stores and vendors shall provide a 50% discount to those in active service within the Civil Protection, Overwatch Transhuman Arm or the Conscript Stabilization Force.

THIS ACT SHALL IMMEDIATELY TAKE EFFECT UPON PASSAGE
