Sanctioned-Relationship Act

PROPOSED BY: SECRETARIAT ARTHUR O'HAIR, PRESIDENT OF THE NEO-REPUBLICAN PARTY​
Preamble
As a source of loyalty to the Union, members of the City should be allowed to choose a partner for a sanctioned-relationship.


Art. 1 Sanctioned Relationship​
  1. Marriage Licenses will be granted to any member of the Consular Presidium (Collaborators Party), from the tier of Two and above.​
  2. These marriage licenses will allow any holder to, legally, hold a sanctioned relationship with someone of Tier One and above.​
  3. In order to acquire these licenses, one must talk to a member of the Administration, being Consulate-General and above.​

Art. 2 Violations​
  1. Any member not holding an official license of marriage as regulated by the Combine Civil Administration, and found to be in a relationship with a member of the community will be in violation of V288, Non-Sanctioned Partnership.​
  2. Any holding member OF a Marriage License will be voided from this verdict.​
  3. If any member holding a marriage license is found to be guilty of black-tier violations, their partner is to be investigated by Civil Protection immediately upon capture.​
  4. If one's partner is found guilty by Civil Protection of black-tier verdicts, the license is hereby null and void. The partner not affiliated with the crime will be charged with the same violation, and will face the same punishment.

Art. 3 Residence​
  1. Once a license is acquired from the administration, and the partner has been legally registered, one may seek out a Civil Protection functionary to get residence changed to the same one as their partner.​
  2. Legal residence from then on shall not be changed unless ordered as such from the CCA.​
Art. 4 Benefits​
  1. Under the Sanctioned-Relationship Act, those holding a valid license will be allowed by the administration to act intimately in public spaces. Such as hugging, hand-holding, and engaging in romantic conversation.​
  2. Both partners once legally registered with a member of the administration will have their wages increased by three credits.​

THIS ACT WILL IMMEDIATELY TAKE EFFECT UPON PASSAGE​
