this is a little thing, but i find it a bit strange. iirc noodles require the following:
- dry noodles (yeah alright)
- dried herbs (sure)
- exclusively breen water (filtered water is apparently unacceptable)
- a frying pan (???)
- finally ALSO an oven (i forgot about this one)
you can probably guess what i take issue with. it's very weird that you are forced to use breen water when all other ingredients are acquirable via smuggling. i don't know if this is a conscious choice or just a limitation with how the water bottles work, but it means you're forced to use a combination of both credits AND chips if you're trying to make these via the smuggling route. i imagine someone will rebuttal and say sending some guy in to scour vending machines for breen water is good for rp, but this has not been the case in my experience.
if that can't be changed, then at least remove the frying pan requirement. this just doesn't make any sense. you would boil these ready made noodles in a pot if anything. changing the requirement to a pot would be fine, but preferably one of these being removed outright would be better imo. why?
each bowl of noodles gives a measly 25 cooking exp, and it does not seem to fill up that much hunger. there is little incentive to make these over skewers which give 100xp and getting the various xen meat is usually far less inconvenient - ranging from either completely free (if npc spawns have been crazy) to at least just requiring only chips to purchase. the bladerunner noodle bar aesthetic currently lies just outside of our grasp
