Do you think the Combine would bother going to North Sentinel Island? They’re all still in the Stone Age, tribes and such. I wonder if they’d bother if they realised there’s nothing there for them.

In my personal headcanon, the Combine leave them alone for the sake of science and the study of the human body through entirely unethical ways, but they also leave them mostly alone to see them all get scared shitless the moment portal storms happen.

I doubt any Combine head honcho, whether from the Overworld or from the human side of things, would give a shit about them or any other super remote community, they are just vibing and have zero strategic relevance

They probably just didn't survive the slaughter of the SHW. Either that, or have since been overtaken by xen or the Combine themselves. Combine may not give a shit about them, but that doesn't mean they care to leave them alone.

For the same reason that the Combine aren't actively trying to process every poor bastard left out in the outlands, the Combine wouldn't care about anywhere that isn't a significant population center. The humans outside of these centers will probably die due to the Combine's pollution, destruction of the ecosystem, or from Xen wildlife.

If they prove particularly hardy, while being counteractive enough to the Combine's operations to warrant it, the most they'll do is shell North Sentinel Island and call it a day.
