An eccentric and charismatic drifter who roamed the valleys of Hokkaido for many years after being thrown out of his home from the local landlords. Selkath found himself begging for food scraps and spare coin as each day passed by, barely scraping up enough from kind strangers.

One day however, Selkath's luck changed forever the day Antonio Cabrero Vincente's caravan strolled into town, offering coin and employment to those with a talent for barter and gift of gab. Leaping up at the opportunity, Selkath met with the devious foreigner, bragging of his various talents alongside various other made up stories of what profit he made despite being on the streets...

By some strange chance however, the merchant gave him the job, gifting Selkath clothes, equipment and a new chance at life where all the coin in the world could be his...His new target? The two major clans of the valley...

An Aged Master of Crime: Forgotten​

A most definitely intriguing, mysterious figure, belonging to a charismatic yet dark nature, whose history is comprised of innumerable legends.
It is said of him that he once hailed from a noble dynasty, luxurious and even imperial in likeness- which, however, disowned him for his supposed arrogance, given that he was the last to be born and believed himself more capable than his brothers.

However, while most would see this event as a catastrophe, he was driven by a newfound sense of resolve: he knew that he could thrive, even without anything to his name and no noble titles to speak of.
Abandoned his old faith, seeing the Emperor as someone not unlike him, he instead turned to worship a metaphisical, Christian God- understanding, finally, that he was put to the test by Him, in order to fully achieve the potential hidden within the young man.

And so, the descent into the Criminal Underworld began: starting out as a mere ruffian, his alluring attitude and his loyalty allowed him a quick rise to fame- to the point of supervising and directing numerous operations, sometimes even all at once- with many amazed of his intellect and diplomatic capabilities.
Yet, those who dared challenge him, believing him to be nothing more than a con artist, would swiftly come face to face with his other side, one he would rarely show, which was nothing short from unending, brutal and sadistic wrath.

Those who have spoke to him described the entrepreneur as a financial mastermind, cultured and knowledgeable of many wisdoms.
An expert in commercial practices, both legal and illegal, he has ammassed a notorious amount of wealth in his time- deciding to show it in all of its glory, wearing prestigious clothing embroidered with the finest materials.

However, despite his enormous success spanning throughout all of his material life, he ever so steadily approached the end of his time and- aware of this- he was prone to a more calm, composed demeanor, leaving the physical violence to those devout to his teachings.
Now weak and ever more unhealthy, only his astute mind could guide him- so that he could leave this mortal realm in a peaceful way- but the Iron Fist of the Law is indifferent to all, regardless of age.

Having underwent a pilgrimage from the south to Hokkaido, the old man is famous for his mythical tales of defending his village from bandits alongside a retinue of Samurai. In the rising tides of war, will he finally have a chance to prove his story with his skills on the field of battle?

A cunning and cutthroat esc foreigner, Rodrigo Navvaro Alves travelled to Hokkaido from across the ocean all the way from the land of Portugal alongside his sinister employer "Antonio Cabrero Vincente" to make profit from this strange foreign land that he found himself in...

Originally a homeless bum living on the streets of Lisbon begging for all types of food scraps and spare change, Rodrigo was no stranger to his run of bad luck...that was until he met his future employer who changed his life, giving him new purpose, clothes and an ideal business mindset...

He became one of Antonio's key Accountants, ensuring his clients were paying their dues in the exact amount they owed him, as well as ensuring cargo that was being transported made it there in full and on time. Over the years Rodrigo has made a massive profit from the caravan trade...But this new score could be the start of something big. He was to target to the two leading clans of the Valley...

Character Backstory: Shani Ekwensi stood proud in his homeland of the great land of Africa, a spirital leader of his small tribe in the Northern tip of the vast lands. For years he taught his people the meaning of family: by bringing the tribes closer together. This peace however did not last. At the age of 29, the young African man was captured by Christian slave traders, his family and friends slaughtered under the Crusading Knights in the name of the Christian God.

He is now in his 40's, years have passed as he has been sold off and traded like cattle to people across the world. One thing led to another, and he has found himself a in the hands of the Takaku-Tobu Clan in Japan. Things seem to be different now, as opposed to his times in Europe and Southeast Asia.

The Slavery system of the Yamato system had been officially abolished years ago, but it seems some Lords still clung to the old ways of slave labor. The people of the Takahu-Tobu clan appear to be treating him as a friend rather than an animal. Slowly, Shani became happy with his position. His wounds will never truly be healed, but maybe at last he can find a family.

Requested Starting Items: Trench coat, machete, and a large amount of meat and cooking supplies so I can roleplay cooking for the clan and harvesting plants and animals.

As time passed, Hiroshi’s actions and demeanor earned the respect of his comrades he became a trusted confidant to Lord Yuu, offering his wisdom and guidance in matters of strategy and diplomacy. Hiroshi’s journey from rebellious rikishi to a respected warrior was a testament to power of redemption and transformative nature of humility and service.
