The Office of Behavioral Purity , or known as the OBP, is an office under the supervision of the Campaign for Obedience established to enforce legislation voted in by the Security Council. The OBP, in conjunction with the Campaign for Obedience, aims to align I24 with Posthumanist Thought, emphasizing order, loyalty, and the elimination of perceived terrorist threats by “heretical forces.”
As such, the ICOBT has been liquidated and has been restructured into the Office of Behavioral Purity. Along with these changes, the roles and duties of each sub-office have changed in a way that suits the bureaucratic functions of the OBP.
THE AUDITORATE
Being the hands-on political arm of the OBP, the Auditorate is run by Acquiescence Auditors who assume the role of inquirers. Responsible for ensuring political purity, Auditors conduct thorough queries into alleged transgressions toward the Age of Inquisition acts. While their focus will be on those who participate in local politics, any citizen may be required to participate in an interview to ascertain their ideological sterility. Auditors may request the assistance of Civil Protection if individuals refuse a lawful interview request.
These Auditors are trusted members who have been tasked with performing non-invasive interviews on suspected individuals. Based on their discretion, Auditors are able to sequester and interview any citizens that are believed to be in violation of the Age of Inquisition. If wrongdoing is found that does not pertain to Age of Inquisition legislation, the individuals will be referred to Civil Protection for processing.
If sufficient evidence is presented, the offender shall go through a trial provided by the investigating Auditor, who may report what punishment the offender receives, such as entering into the CONSORTIUM REHABILITATION INITIATIVE. Serious offenders, at the discretion of Overwatch forces, shall enter the Overwatch Cardinal Recusantory program, then enrolled into this Initiative so they may serve our benefactoral-machine once again. For less serious act violations, a simple fine may be issued. Larger offenses or secondary offenses will have the citizen branded a “heretic” by the OBP, forbidding shops from serving them. Citizens branded as heretics may elect to undergo a public declaration of penance to remove this mark.
The recruitment of an Auditor is overseen by a council of 3. An ideal candidate is a loyalist-collaborator who seeks to reap the benefits of collaboration. In this process, the candidate must submit to a voluntary training process with the CONSORTIUM REHABILITATION INITIATIVE to solidify their trust with the organization.
ARCHIVE DIVISION
The OBP will run on paperwork, and so the Archive Division logs reports to create a paper trail of all information collected.
Paperwork is written in-field usually, later being transcribed into a final report to be filed with the Archive Division through a secured alphabetical filing system.
BRANDED STATUS
An off-shoot of the paperwork section of this document is the Branded Status. The Branded Status is a status a citizen may receive from the OBP if they have shown they want no part in society, and thus are shunned as outcasts and are banished from partaking in society as a whole, meaning they are not allowed to purchase anything, talk to anyone or do anything in public. Repentant heretics must undergo a public declaration of penance as the first step of their recovery. Once completed, the repentant heretic may appeal their status through the CONSORTIUM REHABILITATION INITIATIVE consensually at request of a Civil Protection Officer.

The Directorate is the administrative body for the Office of Behavioral Purity, and is composed of three offices, led by three individuals.

The head of the citizen-scrutiny intelligence branch, responsible for coordinating and leading major inquiries. Conducts internal investigations and ensures compliance with regulations within the office and the city.
The Archive Division
Head Archivist Jane Wilford
Oversees documentation and administrative affairs. Manages the cataloging, storage, and retrieval of classified information.
