Who here has played or is familiar with the semi serious half life 2 RP server Impulse? I personally hold it as my first half life 2 RP server and I've started to notice quite a few impulse players I recognize are joining, but I do seriously want to know who here know's impulse just to get a general idea?

played it on and off in early april. got banned for 50 days. appealed, got denied. made a complaint, ban got reduced. i got unbanned on the 18th and haven't played since

I can see what you mean, a lot of them for some reason hate city 24 but don’t really know why, admittedly it’s best to ignore there bad and mean opinions so it doesn’t lead to conflict

Been on Impulse, played around with Civil Protection for a little while before heading on my wary way. I enjoyed playing for the time though I did have gripes about the voice changer CPs that couldn't be understood that got angry at me when I said to turn it off because most of it was garbled comms.

And don't worry about who comes from where, Gazz. We all play the same game, welcome them with open arms. Most of us started around DarkRP when we first got here years ago before we migrated to actual HL2RP. x)

I've never been a fan of darkRP derived roleplay servers, so I've never been to impulse. A lot HL2RP videos on youtube tend to come from there, though.

yes a popular one is Universal Architect which I am friends with, he has a youtube channel and he usually plays as an OFC, he records short and usually silent vids. I like to call him universal for short though, but some old RMF members sometimes know him as Micheal Green, since that's his citizen name.
