i honestly hope that v3 comes out at a later date
sure yes i have a vague idea as to who the v3 incarnation of dillon ventures (the name has a very high chance of being changed when v3 rolls around) might be, but it’s still vague and needs more work before it finally starts

I'm pretty sure V3 will come either at the start of next month or at the end of it.

It would be even worse to just rush to an admin spawned uprising for the lulz and call it a wrap.
Personally Im more interested on staff developing an organic climax for the timeline without doing what every other server does anytime they either close down or reset their lore.

But nah, in all seriousness, we're going to be on V2 for some time.
V3 is going to be a big update with a lot of features and changes. Some of those things we have already started on, some of them are months down the line before we can even start working on them. Eventually we'll have some sort of date and a narrative to follow that timeline. In order for it to not feel forced, it'll have to take some time for that narrative to cook before its ready.
Then, we will have to call it a wraps and shut down main. Perhaps we will have some SS events for people to play to get their feet wet prior to the grand opening of V3. Too far off to know for sure.
There is only one thing I know for sure. Not everyone will be happy. I can only hope that these changes will improve things for good. Maybe things will be changed for worse. I don't know, its risky. All I can say for sure is that, in the beginning, there will be quite a few doubters. People will leave, some will stay, new folks will join, and Willard will go on. I just hope it'll continue on in a state better than it is now (which, in all honesty, isn't that bad).
The only thing I can say, in interest of transparency, is that is months off. Whether that means summer, or fall, or winter, I don't know. The dev team is very small, and we all work on it when we can. I haven't had time to work on things lately but, soon enough that'll change and I'll be able to put some time into it.
