There has been several changes to the roster since the last update, but I must address a major problem: We are nearing the faction cap
Thus all applications that will be accepted after number thirty will only be accepted on a extremely high quality basis. If we reach the faction cap there will be a automatically triggered activity check as it should be impossible to reach thirty-six with a completely active roster.
Freed Vortigaunt Applications will remain closedfor the time being as I do not feel that the current map is adequate for freed Vortigaunts. Any Freed Vortigaunt Applications that have been previously approved may still attempt escape but no new ones can be made.
If you are wondering why no applications have been accepted recently and I've only gotten around to accepting two more applications today then look at the update on the 3/12/2021 above. I've been looking for applications of only the highest quality as we are currently nearing our faction cap. I also feel that there are currently serious gameplay concerns with the Enslaved Vortigaunts (as in "having fun with them") due to some old habits that some factions have slowly slipped back into. This has made me extremely reluctant to approve Vortigaunt Applications as the individuals playing these Vortigaunts are likely to find this faction rather "unfun" in a prompt manner.
Finally, there will need to be a activity check at some point in the near future. I'd watch Vort-Flux carefully for instructions when that comes.
If you are a current Vortigaunt player then I advise you pay attention to the discord for pending updates in regards to the Lore of the Vortigaunt Faction (and the cosmetic changes that will be made in regards to that).
If you are a current applicant (at least that I'm aware of being somewhat active) then please read the instructions on your application.
I have unilaterally decided that due to a recent event focus at this community we need a total of TWO completely new freed Vortigaunts.
Anyone who currently has a Vortigaunt Whitelist and does not already possess a Freed Vortigaunt whitelist is permitted to apply for a already Freed Vortigaunt Character. This applications will need to be of the highest possible quality standards and must also additionally add something to the faction that we do not already have. A example is that I'm very much looking for at least one Freed Vortigaunt which is aligned with the ideals of the so called "One True Vortigaunt" and has never seen slavery since their arrival on Earth.
If you wish to create a Freed Vortigaunt Application for a completely new character then please PM me on Discord so I may give you a adjusted application format and ask you a few questions regarding what type of character you intend to create. Either I or Raptorian reserve the right to deny you the ability to create the application if need be.
