Alright, this thread has deteriorated into insults and non-constructive criticisms, so I'll be locking it for now.

Please refrain from shouting matches when discussing matters in regards to a Garry's Mod roleplay server. There's no need for things to get this out of hand, fellas.

I've skimmed through this thread here and there, but one half-quote from the entire ordeal (I'd be happy to post the logs of the situation as the whole btw) and a 20-paragraph rant about how this is some deeply rooted issue on a character I play once in a blue moon to provide entertainment is a little silly. You DM'd me on the forums for a meeting with an Overseer which I provided, after which Wittrow then consulted the MCP and rank leaders about the situations. In Wittrow's eyes, your character was little more than a jumped-up loyalist snitch/spy who needed a reality check and so that is what he gave her. Even during the exchange, she seemed incredibly unapologetic and unclear as to her position on the totem pole from the Overseer's standpoint -- something he very much tried to make clear to her. That is the sole reason for his existence, and I don't even play him unless he's specifically asked for.

I left the injuries up to your discretion - with two possible suggestions - so that you could roleplay whichever you chose. I think the reason this entire cope thread is made is that you somehow felt like your out-of-character ego is bruised as a result of in-character actions; frankly, it just shows me that you are probably not fit for the in-character role that your character has been granted since you have some trouble with in-character circumstances bleeding into out-of-character even though there wasn't really any reason for it. If anything, I am deeply sorry you did not enjoy the roleplay, but I am not going to change the way I play Wittrow since aside from you, I have received nothing but praise for his occasional appearances.

Honestly, this is a new type of overreaction I've rarely had to deal with. Your character didn't lose anything other than the things you yourself picked -- temporary or permanent hearing loss, and maybe a little blow to her ego. As far as I know she got what she desired as well, which was a return of her status (which, in hindsight, Wittrow did forget to mention.)

All in all, this could have been solved with a simple DM rather than some public thread in which you embarrass yourself for no apparent reason.

EDIT: didn't mean to post this after lock but I posted it the second claptrap did oops

This was posted right after the thread got locked, and wasn't intended to be Maroon 'getting in the last word'. Just very bad timing with locking the thread.

Your voices are always heard. We don't wave off these complaints nonchalantly, but we can't have threads of just back-and-forth barrages and insults.
