Operation Coiled Serpent | Geneva Coalition Expo I

EXPEDITION INFO
By a majority vote, the Geneva Coalition has determined that the once open contract will now be a Coalition operation. Several cells have a vested interest in the successful deployment and usage of the Combine communications jammer prototype to lure Combine to a location, then wipe them out. The location is a mostly unoccupied District of the City that still sees frequent foot patrols. You should expect mostly destroyed urban terrain, and city streets.

Further details and intelligence on the mission objectives will be disbursed by participating cell leaders before, or at the time of the mission.

This Expedition is open to all players, with special rewards and preferential slots (if necessary) given to Geneva Coalition cells or Free Agents.

A custom ruleset has been implemented for this Expedition.

There will be no PKs during this Expedition, except in the case of extreme foolishness by a player (as determined by hosting GMs).

Resistance players are granted two lives (with refund) for the duration of this Expedition.
Should a resistance player die a third time during the Expo, they will be removed from the main part of the event- RPing themselves as evacuated because they were wounded. No refund for lost equipment will be granted.


Combine players will be sent in in waves, with NLRs (with refund) separating each wave.
Civil Protection and Overwatch will have opportunities during this event, but the primary want is for Civil Protection.

The intent of this Expo's ruleset is to encourage players on both sides to bring their A game, and their best equipment for a gold ol' fashioned slugfest.

Changes to difficulty may be made at GM discretion, depending on the circumstances during the Expedition.
