A commendation is to be heralded to the efforts of the Citizenry of City-24 alongside it's Guard & Civil Protection. The reclamation of the East has been of but a vital triumph of the reconstruction. However the same malice that nearly swallowed this city whole still remains.

The very same antlion hive that was driven to near eradication persists still within the Eastern sectors, one that is slowly spawning more and more antlions to this day, actively hampering and delaying further reclamation efforts ahead of projected timelines.

This simply will not do and will not be allowed to hamper the march of progress any further which is why this nest of parasites is to be finally cleansed and removed once and for all.

Your expectations are as follow;

1. The complete and utter eradication of all antlion drones, larvae & presence within the remaining hive.

2. The reactivation of any gaps within the Eastern perimeter restrictors.

3. Destruction or recovery of any Transhuman or Synthetic material for recycle ahead of Anti-Civil forces.

4. Minimize casualty count.

A detachment of the Genevan Guard will be forwarded, alongside whoever is either selected or volunteered from your district's precinct. They are to pack for several days of Outland duty and to engage with Outland Stabilization Teams if encountered to assist with above objectives.


I need not inform you what this will lead to if this final stain on our city's past is eradicated. No further delays, setbacks or inconveniences will persist in this reclamation effort.

Now that's out of the way, allow me to explain this request in it's detail.

Throughout the reclamation effort push east to City-24's eastern sectors, the very same antlion hive that poised to destroy the city during the antlion swarm years past still persists to this day. Whilst now but a shadow of it's former self thanks to both transhuman and synthetic sterilization following the loss of the east it still remains. It, to put it bluntly is a ticking timebomb that if not handled thoroughly and properly could stand to explode and halt the reclamation efforts that're eastbound in it's tracks due to Protection Teams, Stabilization teams alongside conscript and synthetic forces having to once again jump into the fray to eradicate the regrown antlion threat.

This expedition, if accepted intends to remedy that by striking the hive whilst it's down by deploying a bastion of both Genevan Guard & Civil Protection into the fray to remedy any holes in the thumper restriction line as well as to be the final blow to the antlion presence out east, which if successful will mitigate antlion presence in the region.

The Location:

The location, detailed above is where I intend for this expedition to take place, both in and around the Eastern ruins and within the hive it self. As stated within the objective list the goal of the expedition is simple, destroy the hive either by their own means or contracting cremator janitorial assets to burn out what remains of the nest, maintain the perimeter restrictors as well as recover or destroy any vital material abandoned following the mass sterilization that followed during the Antlion Crisis years past.

If players are successful, the reclamation efforts that're being carried out in the Eastern regions would stand to either be accelerated with the lack of antlion threat to work-crews meaning they're able to labor on unimpeded, which in turn would open up more regions to reclaim following the expulsion of the hive within the region. Although, if this hive is destroyed & eradicated and instead not being allowed to recuperate and mature, eventually and potentially spawning larval extract it would mean that Vortigaunt tribes would be unable to procure the prized secretions leading to them having to journey out of the city to other hives.

I leave the deciding threat level up to the GM(s) that lead this expedition if successful, however due to the nature of the task, I would recommend a threat of around 10-15 given that players would be jumping into an antlion nest, albeit a small nest which is still dangerous regardless. For signups, as stated before I recommended Civil Protection, CCR, Cremators and OTA (The last two being up to GM's with OTA expecting to take a back seat given the focus on Civil Protection and the CCR).

Whilst not the most innovative of ideas, I do believe this expedition is logical given the nature of the tasks detailed above which in turn could lead to further successes within the overarching 'Reclamation arc' that's currently being engaged with Eastern-24 being such an example of the arc, albeit it rather one noted.

Was intended as a simple expo, could be repurposed for sector wars if it fits as I wrote this before Sector Wars dropped

I'll give it a more thorough read when im able to, but i believe we can repurpose this for sector wars, given its turn based nature. I'll let you know later.
