THE ANTLION
"The earliest knowledge on the possible origin or creation of the antlion species has long since been lost to us in the whirlwinds of time. Even though what remains is but a droplet in an ocean, practisioners of this ancient way have always walked alongside our vortal kin. This symbiotic relationship has given both the Vortigaunt and the Antlion no small measure of benefits throughout the ages. Now that the Vortigaunt face extinction and insurmountable odds here on the Earth, these Shepards will surely find their skills to be in dire need once again."

THE HARVEST
"The Antlion are myriad in terms of produce that we have honed for various purposes, from durable armor to sustenance and other tools. The larvae especially can be processed in many ways, ranging from simple ointments to the fabled prize of any substantial hive: the EXTRACT. The larval extract's power is comparable only to the rarity of this fine secretion. Once imbided, it transcends our corporeal form to a state of godhood, capable of feats normally far out of our reach."

THE ENSLAVEMENT
"Our servitude under the Master of the Borderworld has been long and destructive. Few are the relics and practises carried from the time before, and none now living have firsthand memories of our original Home. The Shepards have also suffered greatly during this tyranny, though our efforts to preserve our ways have been moderately succesfull, be it in secret or otherwise."

THE PATH FORWARD
"For it is us that have brought the Antlion to this realm, and left unchecked without the guiding hand they will consume this world until naught remains but a hollow and barren shell. Though the Shepard are fewer in number than ever before, our task remains the same. To direct the wrath of our collective species to our true enemy, and to show the humans we are not the ravenous monsters they fear us to be."
