How long is the ban for?: 2 weeks.
The reason you were banned?: Metagaming a location of a Civil Protection.
Why do you wish to be unbanned?: Obviously, I don't know much about the details of the ban, but I can only recall the instance where I was standing in the CZ after talking with Black-Dogs character, where I told him to stop walking around in the CZ staircase that leads up to the abandoned hotel in his Civil Protection suit. As I was heading towards the Sewers, I heard the sound of a Vocoder from that direction. I went down to the sewers anyways, as I wasn't intending to do much, but I saw several armed people already down there waiting for the /checkcrime.
Following this, I told them about the direction I saw Black-Dogs character (which was the abandoned hotel stairs). I stated there we're two CP's since Black-Dog might be mistaken for one. I told them that there was CP activity in the direction I heard them and last saw Black-Dog in his suit. They decided to go check it out and I went along to investigate. Whenever they got up there, I saw a CP barge out of the door near the basketball court connecting to the stairs I last saw Black-Dog, and I simply ran away until it was over. After that, I went and geared up and made my way over.
I didn't engage in the firefight at all and all I know was that the CP deleted their character as I was wondering where the body despawned. It was discussed quite heavily in the Rebel Discord.
