Some people have pins in their descriptions

[DOB Pin] [CWU Pin] [ISD Pin]

My solution?

Back before I played Willard, people had their armbands in their descriptions
I say we do the same thing that we did to fix armbands with pins.

PRO:
Pins would actually have value, they'd cost something.

CON:
Developers have to do some work.
They take up inventory space (true citizens have space to spare)

EXTRA:
You could make a "pin pouch" or something like that to store these pins in one slot, only pins can be stored, maybe a 2x2 of storage

I don't know who started doing the pins but they were never a thing before. I just don't care about them and take them as not actually there given there is no policy or IC action supporting it.

they cannot share the same script as the armband. they need to be separate & hidden unless interacted with, e.g., pressing e on someone & looking at their expanded description.

I do think we should maybe get an indicator for the areas of factions which are in itself within a faction, Like CRU, DoB. The reason I would wear one is mainly for the sake of identity. As the person who is *leading* the DoB. It would allow for anyone to come to me and say "Oh, you are DoB. Can I ask about XYZ?." Rather than either having to run around headless looking for a CWU to even get the chance to seek DoB. Or just get the chance of bumping into one. This isn't to say that there is a somewhat idea in play where the DoB are provided Orange Uniforms and CRU are provided Blue. I can see however how it can see a tad *odd* at times though. Might look speaking with others about Uniform in the CWU, Jacket meaning Sub-Division or overall CWU. and Helmet signifying rank.

Alternative: remove pins, they are becoming increasingly unfitting in the setting.
Technically we already banned them on old i24. Joint effort by MoE/CCDE (me) and MCP (hoki).Capture.PNG
THE REGULATION OF PINS AND OTHER ATTACHMENTS
In an attempt to further the goal of uniformity, all pins and all other attachments that are not directly affiliated with Combine organizations, such as Ministries or their i24 counterparts, will be banned.

pins could work if they had actual varying models (see Olga) and their text didn't serve as clutter. it's my biggest grievance with armbands and medals, too, honestly.

all of them should receive a slight overhaul. armbands should become visible items on players, whereas pins/medals should be hidden or obscured behind a button press. neither should be up in your face visual text.
