So I spot a CP in the slums just going around so I gear up and well guess what Mug CP time so we start RP'ing and shit then after a brief talk and me trying to get her into a wall she does the following /me
*** Civil Protection Unit span to the wall, reaching a hand down for their holster.
Now I took 4 seconds to shoot her believing she was going to let me do a response /me but nah she started shooting and almost killed me.
Now I'm the winner in the 1VS1 but if it was the other way around this would be a PK appeal not a complaint.

I hope this is an exception and not the norm I didn't want to kill this CP but I was forced to do it bc she said nope pew pew.

Hey there.

If you didn’t have a GM or admin there to overrule the default guns S2K ruling to put it into S2RP, then this complaint is invalid.

I do believe it's a bit power-gamey on the side of the cop considering that you usually aren't forced to /me getting your weapon as it does it for you leading to @Elsida thinking that it would be a roleplay situation compared to a S2K one.

Isn't it technically breaking FearRP as you know you are being held at direct gun point?

I legitimately thought they were going to execute the cop. And I know if I had one final chance at life, I would take my last stand and try fight. (IRL)

Nah just really was going to mug him no exe but he force me

FearRP isn't a rule on this server, this isn't darkRP. There are many, many, many in real life situations where a man held at gunpoint runs, or tries to pull out his own weapon.

I'd say that any gunpoint stuff should be S2RP only and properly roleplayed to avoid situations like these. Honestly.

Understanding of what FearRP means= Unable to act, completely forced to comply (DarkRP way)
What is said in the rule= "Degrees of fear" (Fear for your life could also mean pulling your gun out while held at gunpoint even if stated otherwise, it's arguable as people are not machines and unpredictable. This is roleplay.) It's simply there to prevent people running and bunnyhopping around NPCs or going dragon style on cops with a melee weapon while 1v9.

Edit: I forgot,

Why are you quoting this?

It was a rule it is a rule.
As it states you must show degrees of fear wich the cop clearly didn't show. Sorry but I dont see your logic. That person at a rifle aimed at the back of the cops head, anyone would show fear and they should've. I that situation the cop lacked any fear for their life and payed the price by getting shot.

I understand your point, if someone where to be across the room and aim a gun at me I'd try to run because I got distance of objects in the way to help me escape. But point blank with a rifle to the back of your head is a situation you cannot realistically escape from.

The rule is old. Don't act on a rule that doesn't exist. That is how they work. It isn't enforced.

So someone has me at gunpoint I can just turn around and gat them? Just asking for clarification. I don't gotta rp anything right since it's done automatically when you raise ya gun?

Yeha it's not a rp server it's a cvr you dont have to rp here. 😔
Just murder cps for scripts.

I just hoped the CP to RP more than /me takes out the pistol. I almost died in there for that action but I guess since is not a rule I will not RP anymore and just shoot directly as is less risk.

No, FearRP does not apply on Willard as it does on DarkRP.

Showing degrees of fear as the rule suggests doesn't mean become unpowerful or unwillingful if held at gunpoint, but it means that you should not act as a "Gordon Freeman", doing things that would have zero sense for a normal person, such as randomly standing up while interrogated to beat up cops (unless you got a proper plan).

Once again, being held at gunpoint doesn't make you a slave, you are still free to engage the target, however it is courtesy to respond with a /me especially if the person initiated with a /me

What Travis did at the time was 100% within the rules yet not fully in good faith, I suggest Elsidia to call a GM next time to do things like these
