Why do you wish to be unbanned?: I get the ban is only like 3 days long but I don't want this kind of thing on my record. We weren't even minging around, I helped my friend get oriented with Willard Networks and we formed a religious organization known as the Black Hebrew Isrealites. We recruited a few people, went down in the underground and grabbed some loot before heading up to Victory street. We got shot by a turret, we were told we couldn't get treatment because we're slummers, so we left and a whole standoff ensued outside.

Then, purple smoke comes out of nowhere and a toilet is spawned. My friend was warned by an admin, resulting in him being kicked or crashing from the server and so I continued my roleplay. Basically, I was just yelling about a Bible verse and preaching the toilet and calling it a sign of Yahweh's presence. I did some RP with some of the people there where I got hit in the head with a stun baton, some people denounced my religion, and some more shenanigans ensued where I was yelling up and down about the presence of Yahweh. My friend hopped on, and we jokingly said that he was rebirthed in the name of Yahweh as he spawned out from the toilet.

After that we made a plan to head back to the slums and get some more members of our group, loot, etc. We made a ticket as we thought the elevator was broken, got told it wasn't, then suddenly my friend was banned. Then, I was warned. And finally, I was banned. I looked on the VyHub and saw that it was a day ban, so it was cool. Then it got extended to a 3 day ban. This entire thing was blown out of proportion considering all we did was roleplay as over zealous preachers of Yahweh, which honestly my friend was guilty of minging with saying the n-word a lot. People will say that praising a toilet ICly is unserious RP, but imagine purple smoke came out of nowhere and a toilet came out from said smoke. My character obviously assumed it originated from his god.

I want the ban reduced. It was kinda stupid it got extended cause we closed the shutters on the CMRU as a joke when there were active people in the clinic running around who were able to open it back up. Plus, it's been done a lot in the past and no one really cared but now its suddenly an issue. Idk where NITRP came from when we were roleplaying the entire time, and have been doing so since last night when we formed our organization.

- Proof of us roleplaying at the time with several people in the slums. It's not much, it's just a minute of us talking with some vortigaunts and encountering a chum toad. But we weren't just running around being dickheads like the ban suggests. One thing I will say is we were in fact in a discord call throughout our time in the game, though this has nothing to do with our actual roleplay in mind. We were trying our best to make it as serious as possible, even though my friend made a few fuck-ups throughout the way. He's new to the server and he wanted to stay on a call with me so I can teach him about the server.

RabitHunter was there for the entire thing on his lesbian scientist character where he hit me over the head with a stun baton for preaching the Bible, it was reasonable RP and I allowed it to happen. Rabit didn't get pissed at me because I was yelling over Yahweh, he provided an IC solution to deal with the issue instead of banning me over it because of 'Minging' or 'NITRP'.

I'll be reviewing the ban since I'm unbiased.

Firstly, as shown in the link you sent, you were using external comms - specifically comms outside of the Willard discords, which is against the rules when playing in the server to prevent metagame or any types of coordination (loosely under third party software)
There's no way to prove nor disprove that external VCs are used to give a advantage in-game, which is why it's against the rules - makes admin's jobs easier.

But in this case- while minimal, dictating other people's actions/speech is metagame, especially the "Let's kill it" mention. Given the shared behaviour, I'm not gonna go out of my way to assume that you were in the VC just to discuss anything outside of the server either, nor that what's shown there was all.

Continuing on, from looking at the logs I've seen more mentions of 'Yahweh' from you & your friend than is needed. It's literally there in every other IC message you send, and it's clearly unserious behaviour on a serious RP server. You took player spawns IC as a miracle of Yahweh, your name is unserious, and while you did roleplay your actions, I think NITRP is somewhat accurate, albeit with a minor alteration needed. There was no intent to RP seriously.

And I feel this is clear from the above screenshot, being the very first thing you said after your character was created.

You also took damage from the turret and just carried on with no painRP of any kind, just as a addendum.

Overall, I only see a lack of serious RP from looking over everything. While there might be no malicious intent, it's not the kind of behaviour that we want to see in the server. You've been here long enough to know better.

So with all of that said, this appeal is denied, and raised to a week given the metagame shown in the VC recording + everything else that was said in regards to that.

I'd advise either reconsidering how you want to play the character, or make a new character once the ban is up.
