Implemented Push the Daily Restart Time forward 3 hours.

Your honorable Willard Staff, I am making this suggestion on behalf of the Night Shift Committee including but not limited to the Citizen, Combine, Vortigaunts, and Civil Workers, to put forth a suggestion to move the daily restart times 3 hours forward in the server.

Why do you ask? Well, as night shifters dedicated to the moonlight; the night shift refers to Late Night United States. Currently as it stands, the server closes at 12am Midnight, Eastern Standard Time.

This daily restart time puts a complete axe to our ( All Factions ) late night activities, as when the server shuts off, everyone assumes that no one will be coming back online. This annihilates the numbers during this time.

My proposal, is to kindly request pushing the daily restart time 3 hours passed that, to restart daily at 3am EST.

I am considering our primary EU server base in this request, by looking at the server history population you can note that activity on the server seems to being going up at about 6 hours after restart, so I feel this request will not negatively effect our European Brothers, and more specifically, our Dutch Sisters. Comments and feedback welcomed; as the head of the Night Shift committee I speak for all our dark dwellers in saying, thank you for the consideration.

As a Australian who very much knows when the server is empty and when the server is not empty I absolutely agree regarding this.

I've seen high activity days where there is often 20-30 players on as late as the midnight restart whereas usually the server is completely empty only two to three hours later. Activity only picks up again roughly a hour or two after that as Early Start Europeans start to join the server during the mornings (usually on weekends).

Veteran Night Shift metrocop player. Yes. Always get interrupted during serious or tense moments by restarts, and when it’s combat related it’s sooooo annoying.

As a resident late nighter brit, the restart happens at 3am for me, for which I'm occasionally on for, nor am I ever on at the suggested time which would be 6am for me.

I feel like the suggested time is so early for everyone that it'd positively benefit those that stay up late on the server!
