Goodevening people of Willard Networks, today I was breaking into the Nexus and as I was going about my day there, I decided to wait near a corner to kill the very next person who would walk into the garage. You know who was near the door? RABITHUNTER. Rabithunter was seen walking to the door with the very clear intent to open the door and walk to the garage. I did a /me to raise my wrench, and suddenly he STOPPED and turned around. Here is the video footage:



According to staff, they basically owed up to it in the ensuing VC and said they saw it and OOC took over for a second. I think this shouldn't go unpunished, Staff Council members are getting away with this kind of shit regularly and if we don't draw the line at this, where will we?

A few days ago, me, @Vadim, @Kaffee and @Memesky went into the sewers on our CP's a few days ago and found RabitHunter's character (PathFinder). They then walked around the corner into the blood pit and quickly went into observer and fucked off whilst we were busy talking to some people.

Then a few minutes later as we were leaving they teleported near the nexus entrance in the sewers.

So I've re-opened the thread to state what's going to happen. I've decreed it metagame, as per the /me is basically a psychic transmission of seeing what's going to happen to the character. The character would not have known of any imminent or any immediate threat and should have continued passing through the door.

I've applied a strike. You may be asking "What is a strike?"

A strike is what is applied to any member of staff that does break guidelines. A certain number reached and heavier procedures would be acted upon. Nobody is exempt from the process, not even SC.

I can understand why a player would be scared of going through a situation like this since we know where it rails to, but it still doesn't excuse it.

Thank you for the report, as I've had a discussion and stated clearly where the boundaries are implemented. I expect better even when temptation and worry arises, no matter who it affects.
